Twitter: LVE back in 6-8 weeks

It's a bummer some conferences cancelled the fall football.

But guys I like at LB are:

Dylan Moses: Alabama.
Nate Landman: Colorado
Paddy Fisher: Northwestern(probably a 2 down LB but a tackling/block shedding machine)
Tuf Borland: Ohio State. Actually quite a few there can be drafted this year.
Micah Parsons: PSU. Don't think we'll have the chance to draft him unless the team sucks

I know nothing about Collarbone injuries.

All I know is his neck is fine so no need to worry about long term issues or possible retirement.

On the play that put him out, he waited for the rb to come ro him instead of attacking the rb. He made the tackle, but got knocked on his ***.
I ran off two hunters from my pasture yesterday. They jumped my fence to collect some palomas, I walked towards them with one of my pistols and ran them off. I have 25 cows back there and don't need them getting spooked.

Anybody remember Tony Romo’s in-season “comeback” from a broken collarbone in 2015? Re-injured it in his second game back.

How about letting LVE heal completely and then return in 2021?
8 weeks is more than enough. I've had players come back on 4 to 6. LVE is young, he'll be fine

We can’t rely on this guy to stay healthy. LB has gone from strength to massive weakness in 1.5 years.

2021 Cowboys draft..
Linebacker, safety, linebacker, safety, linebacker, cornerback, linebacker, offensive lineman.

Too fragile, move on.

Stop drafting these finesse, weak, non-physical LBers. You need violent alphas out there on D.
Couldn't be more wrong....problem has been the defensive coordinators have put him in the wrong scheme. He's a 4-3 MLB. Nolan has now completely messed this up with his 3-4 BS.

Nope.. he was done before the season started. This guy had a fused vertebrae in the neck and had neck issues going back to college.

But the irony is, many Dak homers are going to say he can play, while saying Romo was done, because he broke his collarbone and had back surgery, unless they read this before opening their mouths..

Manning set all sorts of offensive records on a fused vertebrae, but he was a QB and his arm strength completely deteriorated.. This guy is a LB...

If he was a bad player I patented the name vander trash
I hear you Hennessy but when leighton came in the league as a rookie, I thought he was something special because he played like he enjoyed the game of football, something I haven’t seen on this team in a long time. I heard Dez Bryant make the statement that Esch was going to be special before his rookie year. Turned out he made the pro bowl that year and was at the top in tackles, like second or third in league. At this point, I’m not sure he can hold up like the rest of you. The guy made some tackles his rookie year; I’d go how the hell did he make that tackle.

I'm not saying he's bad. But he's Vander Glass.

I got so much crap on this forum for pounding the table wanting Rashaan Evans over LVE. Some still bring it up until this day. Now I'm hunting for apologies

meh, he hasn't been the same since his rookie year

flash in the pan, time to move on

Good to hear, he is a huge loss.

Ummm what? He is god awful. No idea how to read a play. No instincts. Him and Jaylon are terrible. They were exposed in the Rams playoff game and have never been the same since.

Both are wastes of draft picks. Jerry giving Jaylon an extension is one of the dumbest things he has did.

Typical Dallas draft pick. We pick some spare player and pass on real talent. 2016 - Jaylon Smith. 2017 - Taco. 2018 - LVE. One guy is not even here and the other 2 are terrible. And one of those is not long for this league at all with his serious injuries.

This front office has no idea how to build on this defense in the draft. Those 3 picks should be the foundation of our defense by now in terms of where we drafted them.

Why is everyone talking about his neck? He broke a collar bone which has nothing to do with his neck. It is not a sign he is injury prone - yet. If he breaks it again then it's a sign. But I don't see him coming back in 6 weeks, or even 8 weeks, not playing LB. I say 10 weeks if at all this season. If they are 8-2 or 7-3 then maybe he comes back after week 10. But if they are 5-5, 4-6 or 3-7, I bet they put him on IR and let him heal until next season.
