Dlaw was outstanding despite a few failures to seal the end. I am correct in putting the blame on the linebackers and particularly LVE. He sucks.

LVE sucks against the run so badly where he should only be in on obvious passing downs. Micah, clark should be off ball on early downs. Micah getting exposed as a de on early downs

I will post what I see. I gave him his due ( on a handful of plays) but there is no way we have this many points scored with competent linebacker play.

You do realize there's a LVE Fan Club out here? He made the good play causing a fumble, but before & after.....film will show some gashing,too frequently, as we see each game.

My point exactly feast or famine should be his nickname. And mostly famine agains the run. If LVE looked like he played, feast or famine would lool anorexic.

I think next year the LBs will be Parsons, Clark and Cox. Not sure why Cox is not getting on the field but remember that play last year when he knocked Danny Times out of the game chasing him down from across the field? When we play these running QBs, Cox should get some snaps to see if he can make a difference.

Wow, LVE makes a stop and causes a turnover…..bad news, he is Dr. Jekyll and again looked mostly terrible in stoping the run. Against good defensive teams with a run game (Philly, San Fran, et all) we will be decimated. Like I have said the storm is coming and against more complete teams with a running game, we are toast.

He's not the rookie edition but he's not bad. Better than a lot of LBs we've had in the last 20 years

It is a failure to run away from the HBCUs as well. I don't care where a guy plays......talent is talent. Especially if you see it in a Senior Bowl or competing against Power 5 schools. Many of our HOF or great players have come from smaller schools......Big E, Larry Allen, Hollywood Henderson, Too Tall, Jethro Pugh, etc. They are out there.

Bust how? He has not played but for a few plays here and there. And As I said, when he played last year he made a great play stopping Daniel Jones from scoring. In the little we have seen of him, and in pre-season games, I have seen nothing that indicate he is a bust.

But you make a fair point. He is not play and they went out and got Anthony Barr instead of giving him a chance so there might very well be something the Cowboys have seen that they don't like.

LVE played better when Clark replaced Barr.

Yeah some what I watched some film break down and he tends to not fit his gaps with authority he waits then catches blocks instead of attacking them down hill in his gap. I get he is taking a read step but he seems very slow to process runs right at him in his gaps. I don't get it because he's fast, he can run and hit but he seems like he's thinking way too much.

When deciding to post critically of LVE, it is important to remember that
he is a tremendous improvement over Jaylon Smith.

Is he great? No.
Is the the worst? No.
Coaches are probably ecstatic at being able to actually grade LVE
on play rather than searching for Jaylon on the All-22.

By the way, it was mildly hilarious to see Clark33 line up beside LVE
after hearing numbnuts22 claim he'd take LVEs spot.
