Bingo….perfectemundo……!!!!!!I keep reading that “LVE is better than a lot of linebackers in the league.”
Who?
Name them?
He tackles with his arms, he's afraid to stick a hit with his shoulders because of his neck. It makes him less effective. He is fine if he can just go forward and hit a hole. Changing directions, having to diagnose & work thru traffic not so much. Does anyone else notice that he seems to jump when a runner is coming into his body rather than plant his feet, sink & meet the runner? He always seems to get driven back.
LVE is in neck injury protect mode. He made one stop today and was shocked. But he almost never goes into the hole to stuff a play. One of the few games where he had a couple good plays including a stop and a turnover but this is rare indeed even in this game where his Dr. Jekyll play was predominant. 200 plus rushing yards against us is a very bad sign but will be our demise with teams that limit will limit our scoring. And with middle of the pack Dak it will mean the storm has landed. He tackles with his arms, he's afraid to stick a hit with his shoulders because of his neck. It makes him less effective.
LVE IS a good but not great LB he gets it done
If LVE is our worst line backer We are in Good shape Very good shapeWrong. He’s slow at everything. Slow run. Slow read the play and react.
Im not seeing him even read well. He almost always takes the wrong hole or angle. I am not sure what LVE you are watching but not what I see.He actually reads the offenses well. But, just doesn't pull the trigger and trust his instincts enough. He could be really good if he did.
He made more than 1 stop he did not suck at allLVE is in neck injury protect mode. He made one stop today and was shocked. But he almost never goes into the hole to stuff a play. Okay…..200 plus rush yards….that worries no one???If LVE is our worse line backer We are in Good shape Very good shape
I saw one stop. He did not suck on a few plays. Not sucking on a few plays does not a championship make.He made more than 1 stop he did not suck at all
Off the top of my head, Jaylon Smith, Cox, Barr.I keep reading that “LVE is better than a lot of linebackers in the league.”

That was all LVE. Everyone else stopped them, but LVE didn't...Oh wait, that can't be right.Okay…..200 plus rush yards….that worries no one???
Saying LVE is better than crappy players is high praise indeed…..hallelujah!!!!!Off the top of my head, Jaylon Smith, Cox, Barr.
Foolish comment. We weren't decimated with our backup qb throwing three picks against Philly. Get a clue.Wow, LVE makes a stop and causes a turnover…..bad news, he is Dr. Jekyll and again looked mostly terrible in stoping the run. Against good defensive teams with a run game (Philly, San Fran, et all) we will be decimated. Like I have said the storm is coming and against more complete teams with a running game, we are toast.
So where exactly does the blame lie? Because if it is not figured out by December, we are toast. I have a pretty good idea what the weak link is.That was all LVE. Everyone else stopped them, but LVE didn't...Oh wait, that can't be right.
He asked a question, I answered it. - non sequiturSaying LVE is better than crappy players is high praise indeed…..hallelujah!!!!!
So we are beating Philly with Dak.? LMAO!!!!Foolish comment. We weren't decimated with our backup qb throwing three picks against Philly. Get a clue.
How many times did Fields go outside DLaw for big gains? LVE was playing the other side of the field, so you can't blame him. I like DLaw, I think he's a very good player, but when you overrun a play, it opens up the field for big runs.So where exactly does the blame lie? Because if it is not figured out by December, we are toast. I have a pretty good idea what the weak link is.
You should have watched TB’s Devon White against the Ravens Thursday night. The Baltimore rookie center totally destroyed him and his reputation and psyche. Almost every run in the second half White was driven 15 yards downfield and couldn’t even sniff a tackle. Reality….LBs don’t get off blocks when a 300 LB OL gets into them. LBs make plays because they don’t have to battle OLmenTired of him being unable to get off a block.
And LVE was probably the best player in that game against SF, too.Foolish comment. We weren't decimated with our backup qb throwing three picks against Philly. Get a clue.
