Actually, I forgot all about him being on IR.
I think he played decent last season, and was not playing bad this season as well.
When he went out, there was an adjustment period. I think they may have it covered some now though.

This may be it for LVE. I think he has 1 year left on his contract. Don't look for him to be released. They will see how he does in TC. Unless he decides to retire.

Not sure what his cap hit is if he is released.

Sean Lee, Jaylon and then LVE. Three guys who if had stayed full health, probably be in ROH talks. But probably wouldn't have dropped to us in draft if full health. Probably need to stop risking it on such a high body impact position.

Stephen may actually have to buckle down and pay or draft a highly rated mlb now. He always knew he could get Lve on a cheap deal because he had the neck injury lingering.

Turns out all those teams the red flagged him and took him off their boards were right.

Dallas/Teams knew of the spinal Stenosis pre-draft.

There's an athletic article from years ago detailing the draft process in 2018. They knew the agent, they liked the player and that was that.
It was a pick that was written on the card prior to the draft basically.

There's an article from Clarence Hill, not sure of what we can link, that states the Cowboys will decide on Friday if he will have neck surgery or not. Regardless of the surgery, playing again is up in the air.

Just an unfortunate play getting pushed into Parsons thigh right in his neck/head area.

Yawn, just another reach pick. Was hoping the kid could stay healthy and contribute especially after his rookie season but I'm reality was always a massive liability

Should have never been drafted or resigned

Players with a history of injuries in college are always a risk; sometimes they work out but all too often just like the ones we picked as LBs they do not.

We got good games and good seasons out of them but in the end none of the three were worth what we put into them. Either draft picks or money.

Damaged goods at this point. If you think LVE wasn't sticking his nose in and filling the gap before, he's damn sure going to be hesitant once he returns.

This isn't any big surprise. I thought there might be a chance the Cowboys could bring him back if they make a deep enough run in the playoffs.

More than likely is time for the Wolfhunter to ride off into the sunset.

LVE was great this year when he played. That's the part that gets me. That, and he had great work ethic.

That's bad news but at the same time not too surprising. Multiple neck/spine injuries probably means they should be extra cautious here, and LVE should probably be extra cautious about coming back at all. I would love to see the guy get cleared to come back for one final late season run as the guy can still run and could be a solid rotational piece with Evans if you give him 10-20 snaps a game primarily on passing downs.
