LVE has been playing on borrowed time forever, and has done a lot for the team. At this point, however, he'd probably be wise to retire and enjoy the next phases of family & professional life in relative good health.

Fred and now LVE lost due to genetic disorders. Obviously different cases but both end with productive former first round picks being forced off the roster prematurely.

LB is the clear target in round 1 now. Supersedes our need at OL imo. Take an OT in round 2…..

Please no. That would be like taking a RB in the first.

He did some good things for us early on, but injuries resulted in a not so good first round pick. They should not have drafted a first round pick with a history of neck issues. I did not like the pick. The last two years he has always been late and slow. Injuries destroyed his carreer. Time for all to move on. You had Derwin James, Jaire Alexander, and others available.

Hes toast at this point and better off retiring. Dude looked like an HOF caliber player his rookie year than steady declined or was injured. He was good this year so its really a shame.

With neck and back injuries like this you better retire before its too late.
