Our 1st round draft pick is a thing of beauty. I can’t believe we are better with a rookie replacing Sean Lee, but that is unquestionably the case. LVE should be Defensive Rookie of the Year.

Sean Lee has managed to mind-meld with Vander Esch or whatever they did in star trek.

In every interview Vander Esch starts by saying how much Sean Lee is helping him both during the week and during the games.

Lee is the ultimate team player.

Game saving tackle ! Lee would never have had made that play! I love lee ! But LVE is the truth !

Last time I heard this kind of talk, we ended up giving up on a top-10 to top-5 QB so we could embrace a young QB who is now a bottom-10 to bottom-5 QB.

Not that I think LVE is like Dak, because I've never thought Dak was the man, but LVE is a bonafide stud. I'm just saying, show some respect for the great Sean Lee, LVE is a rookie, he has a ways to go.

That said, I think LVE will actually get significantly better. Once he fully adjusts to the level of competition, he'll beast out just like the other boys from Boise.

Crawford is JAG at best.

LVE is a beast but i doubt he wins DROY because Goodell hates us and he will give it to the bloke in Indy by the name of Darius Leonard who is also pretty bloody good but glad we have LVE.

The thing about LVE was, he was young and came from nowhere. Gained 70 pounds in college over 3 years, then went and blew the Combine out of the water against a bunch of highly touted D1 players, former 4-5 star recruits. And he was huge doing it.

But he was also a great tackler and forced 6 turnovers his junior year, and what really set him apart was he was probably easily the best LB in the first round that was a natural in zone coverage. That doesnt come naturally for a lot of guys, but he was Sean Lee'esque.

I think a lot of people got hung up on him getting washed out sometimes, or just didnt realize how hard it is to do what he did. His whole story was just a story of work, and hes incredibly gifted. We're lucky to have him.

Yeah hard workers with a lot of God-given talent are what you want to build your defense around.

LVE has a lot of God given talent and he's also blessed to be around some of the best in his game. Marinelli has coached championship level defenses before as has Richard... Sean Lee is clearly one of the great minds at the linebacker position. His body can't hold up. Having Jaylon and Vander Esch command the defense makes this a pleasure to watch, and it's fun watching them take turns making game changing plays.
