With an actual degree in psych, Dak is one of the handful I see as having the "It" factor. Whether or not the skills are coached/grasped to the pro level will remain to be seen. I do not expect anything from Goff or Cook. Lynch and Wentz have some upside but that's all I can say.

"FEIR" is simply a translation from the Myers-Briggs scale, and the MB isn't a clinical scale. That doesn't mean there can't be some usefulness found, but I wouldn't start betting on it. I like how Niednagel simply renamed the scale and claimed to be making it "useful". Because names.

Niednagel has been quite accurate in his assessments. I've read a few of his books on brain typing and it's very interesting information. It will be interesting to see if he is able to link DNA to brain types which is what he has been working on for many years.

I'm quite sure there is a link there (genetics and personality that is), but I wouldn't expect him to be able to forge the actual link if he's outside the genome project group, and especially if he's using the MB scale.

Lynch had zero talent around him and played against good defenses like Temple, Ole Miss (which he destroyed), Houston, Navy, etc. He has a much stronger arm than Prescott. I think if he's given 1-year to ride the bench at Denver, he's going to be an elite QB someday.

my 2 cents, first i'm glad they didnt let Jerry mortgage the 2nd and 3rd round of this draft for Lynch, i watched his last bowl game and came away very unimpressed. as for Dak i agree with a few others that he has that "IT" factor. as i have been saying.....Russell Wilson 2.0, I'll go one further that Wilson will start at some point this season. mark it down.

There are no comparisons to be made. Lynch is much more talented , butcDak was drafted by Dallas and has become much more in the fan's eyes than he is on the field. There is a reason that Kynch was drafted three rounds ahead of Dak. Tebow had the it factor in college, but the it factor does not carry over to the pros very often.

This is how things get distorted here. Look carefully. "They didn't let Jerry". That'll be the story going forward. They'll reference it in future who really runs the team debates. Remember the time Jerry wanted to move up for Lynch and they didn't let him? What about that?

Of course there is absolutely no truth to that whatsoever. It smacks in the face of what was reported, goes against direct quotes from Jerry - "I probably should have given the 3. I'm second guessing myself." - but it sure sounds nice when you want to create a more fan friendly reality.

based on watching him for 2 years. He has no traits which make a good NFL QB.

Well honestly, you got me, I only have a couple of youtube vids to go on, I hope you don't mind if I wish you're way off on your analysis.

Lynch reminds me of Randall Cunningham. Could be a very good QB but I doubt that he becomes great. I don't think he'll process information quickly enough when big time pressure occurs.

Below are Characteristics of an ESTP based on analysis by Braintypes.com

Appearance: relaxed, untailored clothing (normally) yet may dress fashionably (even daringly) for the occasion, jewelry not uncommon on men, women are often slightly masculine or strong, flamboyant, body conscious, often well-built and in shape, muscular, hard look, aggressive, provocative, teasing, athletic, EI “hawk eyes”
Personality: risk-taking, energetic yet in a stress-free way, engaging the world, free-spirit, usually athletic, speaks quickly and simply, not a conversationalist, may be a poor listener, self-centered, self-directed, egotistical, proud, exciting, impetuous, impulsive, may be foolhardy, reckless, hotheaded, cunning, street smart, opportunistic, often short tempered
Athletic Characteristics: superior hand-eye coordination (fine motor positioning), strong upper body, tough-minded, aggressive, operates at high gear, moves quickly, not a planner, die-hard, powerful, “enforcer” mentality, thrill-seeking, venturesome, antagonistic, hardliner, deceptive, spontaneous, offensive-minded, often breaks the rules of the game just to break them, highly tactical.

To me, Dak Prescott is the only quarterback in this class that I look at and see as an ESTP.
Appearance - muscular, hard look, aggressive, hawk eyes
Personality - engaging the world, free-spirit, usually athletic, speaks quickly and simply - Dak speaks well and gets straight to the point -not wordy
Athletic - superior hand-eye coordination (fine motor positioning), strong upper body, tough-minded, aggressive, operates at high gear, moves quickly, not a planner, die-hard, powerful
.

This stuff is really interesting. I'd say Dak's participation in the spring break battle royale also matches the ESTP description - risk-taking, impulsive, hot-headed, enforcer mentality.

Interesting to note though is some recent mobile qbs (Rodgers, Luck, and Wilson) are Type 13, not ESTP/Type 5.

Hawkeye really needs to be Dak's nickname

That's moving the goal posts since your comment was they didn't let Jerry move up for Lynch.

But I'll play along. Jerry was forced into taking Martin? The owner. GM. Head of all things Cowboys. Dictated to by his underlings?

Well, what happened next in this Land of Make Believe?

Romo is actually a type 13 as well (FCIR). It's the most popular QB in the NFL but historically not as good as the FEIR/ESTP (type 5). They aren't quite as good under pressure as the ESTP in big games (Playoffs/Superbowls). They tend to think of what "could be" instead of "what is" when under severe pressure. Check out the below link on Cam Newton who is also a type 13/FCIR (ENTP)

I still think Lynch will bust his wind up and delivery is so sloooow
Yeah. Pro coaches never can deal with mechanical issues.

Dude is 22! Totally set in his ways. Never gonna change

I guess my thing with Prescott is what skills of his translate to the NFL. His mobility is really about it, which isn't as fast as Aaron Rogers, Russell Wilson, Andrew Luck, Rothlisberger, Cam Newton and most other elite QBs who are mobile. I think his arm is strong enough and while there are questions on it, I think that can be fixed with proper mechanics. Accuracy is poor and I think he's significantly behind Lynch when it comes to running a pro style offense and working through progressions.

He's not as fast as Roethlisberger? You sure about that one?
