We need Nate to show well also. Very little depth along the OL. I hate we let Hoffman walk. And Asim Richards. Good back ups. Whos second string Center? Is Bass good enough.
He’s learning on the job. With Guyton I think it was combination of things, he was raw, he played blindside tackle for a left handed QB in college, I think he was slow picking up the footwork flip he needed to play LT after playing Blindside RT in college, this is just a guess but I think he may have been more athletic than technique sound in college which is common, and he has had injury issues in the Pros. But hey Ronnie Stanley has turned an injury marred career into a lucrative deal with the Ravens.

There was also talks if he really even liked playing football because it seemed his head wasn't in it. This year he was doing good work in the offseason.Guyton's issue has always pretty much been a lack of reps to make fundamentals routine. When he loses, he's just thinking and slow.
He has to stay healthy.
Nothing wrong with that the issue being it does appear to be a little slow. Lets use Tyron Smith, he got drafted he played RT in college and in his rookie year and switched to left side his 2nd Year and was a stalwartHe’s learning on the job.
