It's the NFLs argument not mines. They showed what they think of him. But we'll see in a few days. He has experience and there was no team willing to pay more than 2 million. That's just the truth.

I thought it was pretty clear when talking about the roster bubble that I meant Thomas and Shelton and not Steele and Guyton, no?
How could we cut ALL of our OTs?:facepalm:

I'm with you. The discussion is what the Cowboys will do. But, If it were my call Cornelius is in the mix. He is more talented (IMO) than Thomas and better (at least at this point in time) than Shelton. Did he even play enough OT this offseason to be an option there? I would have been playing him more at OT all along

Im not sure. He seemed to be playing alot of RG. He had a very strong preseason last year at RT, and a very strong one this year at RG. He could give us some flex. From what I saw last year, he looked like someone who could eventually be a RT starter the 2nd half of his rookie deal

I don't really think he played much OT this year. Bizarre knowing how solid our interior OL backups are compared to our OTs

He hasn't played T at all. He has been moved inside. Of course in a pinch he does have some flexibility. He apparently doesn't have the feet to play T consistently.

There are literally hundreds of QBs that made a living as a backup QB that no one else wanted. Jason Garrett, Cooper Rush, Colt McCoy, etc. There will always be spots for guys that might not be starters but can step in at a moment's notice and do enough to not lose a game for a team.
 
I think we need to go deep at dline. Wheat, Dunn. That means cutting a guy like Nate Thomas. He's awful. Trash. We could also cut Locke. Keegan I agree with. He's been good. Versatile too. I bet he can even slide over and play some rt too.

Last offseason he did. That's the reason for the discussion
 
Every year there are surprise cuts, and many times they mysteriously find their way back. Howell seems like a great candidate there. Sieg also.

ARLINGTON, Texas — Jerry Jones said at the beginning of training camp that the Dallas Cowboys were open to making a “substantive” move if one was available. Since that time, their only notable move was signing veteran edge rusher Von Miller. But they’ve also been very fortunate in the health department.

Does that mean they are set with their final 53 being what they already have in the building?

Not necessarily.
