No doubt that is a total joke.

whitey_aw;2100564 said:I disagree. Romo throws too many INTs for his awr to be much higher than it is. If he could lower his INT number, hiw awr rating would go up. As it is right now, I'd say it's fairly accurate.

It's similar and not the same thing as you're referring to, but one of my pet peeves with Madden's Training Camp (or Mini-Camp) feature each year is the Trench Fight tests. You can clearly shove or swim move your way past a blocker, but sometimes your player will re-engage the blocker instead of heading straight for the flag. If there is open field between you and the flag, what is the problem?firehawk350;2101283 said:My problem is they have a lot of other problems to deal with in EA without worrying about Romo's AWR rating or some other BS feature they add every year. Stop with the canned animations (costs me a lot of yards) and institute a more realistic tackling and blocking system. It seems theres a game or two every season where all my blockers don't worry about blocking and just run off in a random direction to block a safety like 20 yards away from the play. Getting beat I can understand, but that is ridiculous. Also, a RB straight plowing a DT just isn't very realistic either.
you still got to remember that was his first full yearVintage;2101259 said:Sure. If you excuse a couple of games, his INT totals drop.
Name me a QB that this DOESN'T apply to...
You're saying there's no control for special moves the instant the ball is caught, like jukes or spins?firehawk350;2101295 said:Yeah, it's not only that too, unless you go directly away from the blocker, it has a hard time disengaging the shove part of it. A blocker can be at the right shoulder of a defender and the defender will turn to engage the blocker. I'd like to see blockers double team and shift. More realistic blocking and tackling is all I really am asking for.
Oh yeah, and the stupid canned animations. Like if a player catches the ball and is anywhere near the sideline, you have to go through the whole process of him bringing it in before you have any control. I'd like to control the second the ball is caught, not 3-4 steps afterwards.
