I was pretty indifferent about him getting the job in Dallas, because I didn't think we had much choice, but I did not expect him to be this good. I'm impressed.
I wonder who he hit up as kicking guru in the off-season the ball is coming off his foot different than his first go around. I think his mechanics and setup were tweaked a little.

Mee too. The kicker position was the biggest liability on this roster during the off-season.

But man did he prove his doubters (including me) wrong. Cudos to you Mr. M and thank you very much. Now keep on rockin deep into January please. :)

He’s fixed what was his problem
He missed short FG
I guess kickers are like other players in that sometimes it takes some time to really develop their game
Most kickers need time, there is a reason why journeyman float around there is a flaw in their game but eventually they fix it or they will be just weekly thoughts when a team loses a kicker.

That was his 4th from 60 or more. He is the only Cowboys kicker with a 60 yarder, let alone 4 of them. NFL record for most as well.

He has to be the biggest surprise on the team. I can remember when he can't even hit the side of a barn. Now he's nailing these 60 yarders like their extra points.
