Relieved to hear the fines will be severe for those missing minicamp. Ro shouldn't be missing those practices.

Being under a one-year deal shouldn't afford him the luxury of being conveniently absent with "family issues."

He comes cheap here or somewhere else.
He is playing cheap for a reason, its a mutual understanding between Ro and the Cowboys or whoever.

I've defended McClain in the past and love what he brings to the field when he is giving it his all, but it would definitely be nice to see him actually give a damn and be all in during the offseason for a change.

He'll give a damn when the checks stop coming in and he is standing in line for a job at the John Deere factory hiring seasonally.

Time to show Mr. McClain the door. Not really a team player and does not seem to value preparing for the season. The
Cowboys have other player's who could man the position for the year. Nzeocha, and a few others could vie for the position.
McClain may have talent but, no football heart. Get rid of him before he gets injured and you have to pay him for the year.

I agree. What a waste of talent. He could be possibly be one of the best all time if he had the heart for football given
his immense talent and physical tools. Smh

Just read that Garrett spoke to him and doesn't know if he'll make it to mandatory.

Just to play devils advocate, any player given a contract for less than three years is not seen as the long term solution. Now if you barely have the desire to play football, but it's the most lucrative thing you are qualified to do, and you know the team doesn't have plans for you; would you work your *** off? No you probably wouldn't because you know somebody needs a physical presence in the middle and you have a job as long as that is true. This guy never wanted to work that hard and have big expectations. That's why he retired so he could have it this way, as a mercenary paid to punch a clock, not a corner stone franchise player.

And that's ok with me because not everybody with franchise talent is cut out for all that extra crap/responsibility. Guy seems like a quiet dude, probably hates that his name is in our mouths in the first place probably just wants to be left alone. I think organizationally everybody knows the score with this guy and his replacement is already on the roster. He'll have a pretty good year and will end up in Cincinnati New England or Oakland is my prediction.

Getting really tired of McClain's yearly offseason's act!!

I'm not. I stopped expecting anything from the guy a long time ago.

I am tired of foolish people who can't ever seem to learn that these bad-character guys just aren't worth the trouble.

Or Ezekiel Elliott is the greatest thing since the invention of sex.

To bad the guy, or gal, that invented it didn't get a patent. They would have made a lot of money until the Chinese knock offs appeared.

I said "knock offs", so don't go there!

Cheap or not, he's being paid to do a job, not to do as he pleases and thereby render himself ineffective. You can bet that wasn't a part of the deal.

your right, just saying that he has pushed his way into this border war, not withstanding the borders of his contract.
Hes not looking for a raise, and the team isn't looking to get rid of him.
