Lol. Just the D-Line starters.
Yah I was worried if you had a life are not...LOL
Thanks for your contribution!
By the way, I’m in the Data Analytics profession.

I'm not arguing the contract. He is overpaid.
But you're wrong when you say he's had one good game. He had a pretty damn good game against Denver too, primarily at the 3-tech, and mostly against Leary. I counted six times he beat Leary right off the snap. Pressured Siemian a few times, likely gets a sack or two if not for Siemian getting rid of the ball 2-2.5 seconds on most of his passes. He had a couple of nice plays against the run, too.
Whatever dude. If you'd rather base your entire opinion on a game on that stat line then be my guest. You're still wrong.Well we agree on that.
1 tackle 1 assist.
Those were his numbers.

I agree "getting close" isn't "doing something" if the QB still throws a 30 yard bomb on ya. If getting close (pressures) causes the QB to throw it away or forces him to check down on third and forever, leading to a punt though, it affects the game in a positive way. That's all I'm saying, because that's what i saw from Crawford after rewatching that Denver game, pressures leading to failed third down attempts. I know exactly the type of plays you're talking about. No, you prop him up based on being "close" to doing something. Without actually doing something.
That's a much better way of assessing his performance....

That game was a freakin' disaster.Cool.
But obviously none of it was enough to either stop Denver's running game or passing game all day. To the tune of 42 points overall.
That game was a freakin' disaster.
Yep. You ever felt like throwing the remote at the TV? I felt like it on and off for three hours watching that beatdown. We are now in complete agreement!

We have all seen how well Demarcus Lawrence is playing. He is looking like a "War Daddy" this year. But let's talk about these other two starting defensive lineman for a minute. Maliek and the "Whipping Boy" for just a moment. You know Maliek Collins. 5 sacks last year. One of our favorites on defense, but the whipping boy? Not so much. He's not so well liked. Before I tell you who he is, I would like to say that I have rewatched the Cardinals game a few times and I have looked specifically on the front four DL and every snap of each starter individually multiple times, so while i may not be an expert, no, just a fan like everyone else, i have taken the time so see who did what. So let's look at some numbers here, specifically pass rush statistics.
3 QB pressures, 2 sacks.
And 7 QB pressures, 1 sack.
One of these stat lines belongs to Maliek, and the other belongs to the Whipping Boy. But which ones belong to Maliek and which one belongs to the Whipping Boy?
First, 3 QB pressures and 2 sacks belong to big Maliek. He had an EXCELLENT game.
But the 7 QB pressures, 1 sack belong to the Whipping Boy. Who is the Whipping Boy, you ask? It is no other than our own Tyrone Crawford. 7 QB pressures (yes, that sounds ridiculous for such a bum, but unfortunately for some, it's true) and one sack. Interestingly enough, 3 of his pressures came from the 3-Tech spot and the other four came from the weakside DE spot. Yes, they were down to their backup LT, who isn't very good at all, but look at some of the players Maliek and D-Law have had success against. OL talent is pretty poor these days. However, his three pressures from the 3-tech came against the C and RG, the same players Collins dominated. So there. There's it my fellow posters.
For a minute there I thought the whipping boy was Taco lol.....Crawford with his contract is easy to pick on......he's a solid part of this defensive line rotation.
Me too, until I saw the pressures and the sack.
You're right, He was overpaid but I'm not puffing out my chest. I said he had a nice game and wanted to give him credit for that. No matter what he does he's going to called out for his contract. It's funny that nobody wanted to talk about Crawford the first two weeks of the season. Probably because they couldn't find him.
But now he flashes for one week and everybody's out puffing their chests saying "told ya so!"
The fact is that it was a nice week for him. One out of three. Hopefully, it's a sign of things to come. But he's still not come close to being worth what they're paying him.

That would be nice. I was just happy to see him play a good game but you're right, He needs to have more than one good game out of every three or four to live up to his contract.Well... he could start playing like the guy on the opposite side...
That would shut me up pretty quick!
