Malik Davis Had 9 Less Carries Than Zeke

Zeke can’t get around the edge. The play has to be blocked well or he’ll run into the pile for two, yards.

How about getting around the edge in the Philly game, on 4th and what 3 or 4 yards and got like 15 yards?

Zeke is a shell of his former self as a runner. His vision is poor and his speed and balance are below average. His blocking is his major strength and I’d consider moving him to FB next season as long as he agrees to a paycut.
Pay cut he has nomore guaranteed money lol

Two things just makes my blood boil…….

1) we run over 90% on first down. Well at least in this game we did and I’m guessing the percentage is high for the season.

2) Zeke turn his back as he hits the line. For the sake of god, what is that. It’s like he’s going to spin but doesn’t and just hits the line with his back. It’s maddening!

Everyone knows Zeke is not what he use to be, it happens to running backs. I am fine with letting him go after the season but there is definitely an issue with run blocking/scheme right now. Maybe defenses are easily picking up in when it’s a run play, I don’t know. But I hope it gets corrected.

Fix the OL catching as well as the OC, or at least someone needs to kick his butt to get his brain in gear.
Then the running game with the same RB's will be great again.

This type of logic is the only logic that keeps Zeke in the league, when he makes a break out run it's maybe 10 yards.
This is what he was running into all night. Guys in the backfield, unblocked defenders, etc. but go off

Now you have Zeke and Dak to whine and hate on.
Dude give it a rest.
Is this going to be one of your theme posts / threads all week now? Repeating it over and over.

Outside of his 1 run, he did nothing better than Zeke. Zeke's average is down, because they only needs 1 or 2 yards for a 1st down or a TD. The KEY was to get the 1st down, not break some long run.

Luuulz, ah yes, we don’t need Zeke breaking long runs now. “Zeke…if you see a hole, don’t hit it. Just get the first and go down.”

I didn't say that to only use him for that. I guess you still have not improved your logical thinking.

This!!! Been saying it all season.

You think my point is somehow undermined because Davis averaged just 3.9 YPC for the game?

Zeke is averaging 3.9 YPC FOR THE SEASON.

Why?

Because he doesn’t break long runs.
Only 9 RB's with more than 200 attempts have a higher YPC average.
