Yeah. McFadden is just another overrated SEC running back. He'll probably be as bad as Bo Jackson or Herschel Walker....

DallasEast ask if I watched SEC games, I ask him if he watched Big12 games.

Peterson > McFadden

:D

Look, I know that I haven't seen enough of Peterson to be a better judge than others who have seen him in more games, so I'm not about to diss him. What little I have seen of him tells me that he's going to be a great back barring injury. Still, let's be real. All running backs are not carbon copies and great backs do not have the same running styles.

If you feel the need to put down McFadden because he isn't another Peterson, be my guest. Every college player has to translate his college skills to the pro level. I'm confident that he will because that young man truly has mad skills on the football field.

He isn't half of what Peterson is. Watch all the games you want. McFadden has blazing speed, but generally goes down when he makes contact. Peterson on the other hand also has blazing speed and he (like Emmitt used to do) bounces off would-be tacklers.

Case closed and nailed shut and buried under 10 tons of concreate. Peterson is easily twice the back McFadden is. The only worry you have about Peterson is his ability to keep his center of gravity low which will prevent most injuries.

McFadden == Reggie Bush.

Peterson = Emmitt Smith with speed. (Something Emmitt never had)

I'm speechless... :huh:

You DO know we aren't talking about BRYANT McFadden, but rather DARREN McFadden... you know... the RB from Arkansas?

Well, I do have to say that McFadden looks to be a bit straight line. He's fast and he's very strong but you don't see much wiggle from him. Typically, he's one cut and gone.

Perhaps Herman Edwards used his trademark line on HBO boss Ross Greenburg and NFL Films prez Steve Sabol, to convince them to make his Chiefs the focus of "Hard Knocks," HBO's reality training camp series. This August, HBO, along with NFL Films, will follow Edwards and his crew through the summer rigors. Since the Chiefs train in Wisconsin, "Hard Knocks" should have an old-time feel to it.

The Chiefs are done; Herm is a few steps above Campo, but Herm is going to show the league what a great job he does at dismantling teams and taking credit for the past works of other coaches
