Manuel Johnson picked at #229

screw Manuel and Cosby, we let the better player get away, Kent State's Julian Endleman, the Pats just took him

They both were small and not the greatest of nfl prospects, but Cosby had better hands and made more plays. In addition, while Texas wide receivers tend to be pretty productive on the pro level, I don't recall the last time a receiver came out of Bob Stoops's system and did anything in the next level.

Cosby is better then this guy hope we bring him in as a UFA

No he's not ...He was dominating before he dislocated his elbow late last season Crosby is a vertically challenged scrub

I love this draft. Jerry didn't reach at all and we got some really good players.....

*Busts out laughing* j/k I do love the Mickens,Williams and Smith picks though.

I don't know much about him.

Slot guy?

Same here. If so, sounds like Crayton, not big, fast or strong.

Are you a Longhorn fan that is sprewing hate at a OU pick? :laugh2:

Can we please stop talking about Cosby?

Jesus. Enough already.

I remember that catch... unreal.

Also, typical Stoops... throwing 50 yard bombs when you're up by 5 TDs...

OU is my favorite University. Manuel Johnson is a good player. He had a couple of seasons cut short because of injuries. It was unfortunate because both seasons he was really playing well before he got hurt. I think he still has some upside. He is pretty fast on the football field and can take a short pass for a long touchdown. Juaquin Iglesias was the possession receiver for OU and Manuel Johnson was the big play receiver. I don't know if Manuel Johnson will make the team, but I like the pick. I really think he has a chance to help the Dallas Cowboys and I think it was a good value pick.

Translation: I'm a Texas fan who's miffed that Dallas took a Sooner over a Longhorn

Cosby is what, 5'7"? Unless he has elite speed (which he doesnt) mit makes no sense to draft him over Johnson. Manuel put up good numbers in an offense with 4 other NFL prospects catching passes and a good pass catcher out of the backfield.

you're either a OU fan or you simply haven't watched Cosby
either way suggesting that Johnson is better then Cosby is just absurd

Does it really matter? Both will struggle to make a team. Manny Johnson is about 6-0 and probably has better potential to be more than just a slot guy like Cosby. Cosby is really limited in where he will be as a receiver. But it's the 7th round. You don't expect 7th rounders to make an impact.
