There was one on the other side of the field.Another QB wins tonight with all else being the same as long as that QB plays better than Dak did.

I am not sure if I watched the same game as others on here did... but I thought the defense was sensational. They did their part. Thought DQ dialed up a great game plan. They held SF to 19 points. 19. No excuse for not winning a game when your defense holds the opponent to 19 points.Someone already posted a thread about Micah's comments
There's an ongoing discussion about it. Go find it
Parsons, and the defense as a whole played well. Certainly well enough to win
They surrendered 19 points, 3 of which were a gift on that first int. Could have easily been 7 if they hadn't stiffened
Defense bears zero responsibility for this loss. Zero
ELITE quarterbacks don't grow on trees. If you don't have one, don't pay for one.I'd haul Dak in and tell him this:
You're our guy, but every team that's poised to compete or that has competed for long stretches has had a QB willing to take a discount. I want you to sign for another 5 years at $40MM per, $120MM guaranteed, and I want it now. You will be guaranteed to have earned over a quartet of a billion dollars as a Cowboy. If we can't get this done, we're moving off you in two years even if it means we start a rookie. We WILL NOT pay you top of the market even if you win the next two SBs. We simply can't pay the skill players we need to put around you if you eat up the cap.
$40MM/yr will be a bargain three years from now. What say you all? I already know what the Dak haters will say, but QBs don't grow on trees.
Defense played greatThe Niners were the better team. Simple as that.
Over analyze and blame it all on Dak all you want.
I critique the whole team.
I'll never forget what they TRIED to do with it. They tried to dump all 70 million on Gregory. That tells you all you need to know about this organization.Unfortunately, you’re completely correct. They didn’t do a damn thing with the Amari cap savings, and everyone eventually just forgot about it.
You’re right, the Cowboys can never contend with the teams who legit go all-in.
Dak simply needs to go. His is trash and will never lead us to a Super Bowl. Parsons and Lamb, both HOF talent will end up in the Dallas graveyard that Witten, Dware, and T Smith ended up in. Face the facts man. Throwing good money after bad is the wrong decision. Get rid of middle of the pak Dak and get a franchise QB.I'd haul Dak in and tell him this:

OC is a question, the QB no question at all its was bad.Defense played great
ST were good
WR were open
OL played v good
RB not so good missed TP
OC called a good game
DC called a great game
QB 2 picks that cost the team 6 points 2 more near picks, over three receivers missed open receivers played terrible. He did run good. The D gave up 13 points Dak could only muster 12.
7th round rookie was better and now has 2 Playoff wins and is going to the CCG something Dak has yet to do in 7 seasons .
Dak cost this team a win yet again but your small mind sees everyone else is at fault and can’t see the truth right in front of you. Daks legacy is choking when the pressure is on, no way to see it any differently unless one is a low grade moron.
Rolled it over to this next season. Smart move.Unfortunately, you’re completely correct. They didn’t do a damn thing with the Amari cap savings, and everyone eventually just forgot about it.

You critique the whole team? The defense actually played well. Heck even our WRs made some pretty dang good catches on poorly placed balls by Dak. Yeah...Zeke sucks, but so did Dak. And it's also not like the offensive line was poor either, Dak just made terrible reads. The Niners were the better team. Simple as that.
