Many aren't going to like this, but I'd haul Dak in and tell him this

He was moved off the line to try and give us more speed across the field. the lion is a BIG reason why mcCaffrey and Deebo didn't get off the chain.

When Parsons was sent on a blitz or off the edge.. he created two almost interceptions and created a sack.

He had a fine game. Far better than our QB.
Not what I saw. Micah was non-existent out there. There was no lion.

Dak, Zeke, Gallup, and DLaw (among the main ones) all need to go and this team needs a rebuild. The supposed 'nucleus' of this team (the players I have listed) have failed this organization and while Jerry will never have the stones to do it, this team will not succeed with those players as the 'leaders'.
I thought Dlaw played well yesterday and showed up. It would not hurt my feelings if the other three took a hike.

Agreed 100%.

I would go a bit further. I would ask Dak, Zeke, D-Law and the rest of the overpaid players to take a paycut if they truly want to help the team get better. If they refuse, you know what you need to do with those players a year from now.
We agree which is a good change of pace. Sadly I do not think any of the players listed take a pay cut and Jerry lacks the stones to call them out....but a good owner (typically a GM but Jerry is both) would say, "We need you players to take a pay cut to better help the team to achieve a Super Bowl and if you refuse, you may still get your money this year but you will do it riding the bench and you will all be gone as soon as possible."

DLaw is like Dak in that he may show up from time to time but does not perform to the level of their respective contracts which only hurts the team's ability to bring in additional talent.

Dak has a no-trade clause in his contract so Dak would have to approve reworking his contract and accept a trade. If he refuses, then you make him ride the bench all of 2023 and release him in 2024.....while not the greatest business move it sure sends a message to Dak and his future.
Riding the bench is not good for his football future...next contract...or his sleep member commercials.

That could force him to accept a trade.

(Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result)
the man 's issue is a mental one ( can't handle pressure) and that can't be fixed either you have it or not just move on who cares about the 40 mil
as a backup he will be great

Dak handled the pressure just fine last week at Tampa. Buccaneers D is no joke. The problem is Dak's inconsistency. Plus, he truly had no more than CeeDee as a receiving weapon all season long, but that also falls on Dak for having such a ridiculously overpaid contract.

Post it here then.

Plus, if Micah truly insinuated as much, he should look in the mirror. Where was he against the 49ers? Where was "the lion"??? I didn't see him. Did you?
Someone already posted a thread about Micah's comments

There's an ongoing discussion about it. Go find it

Parsons, and the defense as a whole played well. Certainly well enough to win

They surrendered 19 points, 3 of which were a gift on that first int. Could have easily been 7 if they hadn't stiffened

Defense bears zero responsibility for this loss. Zero

Hope springs eternal. Maybe in year 8 he'll get his team over the top?

I've been patient with Dak, but he is what he is. This was a winnable game, and his play was instrumental in losing it.

If he doesn't get it done in year 8 he is never going to get it done with the Cowboys. And the best thing for both sides might be for Dak to get a fresh start with another team, while the Cowboys try to draft or trade for a QB who can end this Super Bowl drought once and for all.

Why should he take a discount? Lead his team to another 12 win season running the #1 offense football. Dropped 300 yards and 5 TD's in a playoff win last week and lost to the better team and #1 defense this week.

We would have plenty of money if we werent wasting 18 million on a turd like Zeke.
Only Dak over Dallas fans believe Dak has led the Cowboys to back to back 12 win season.

Dak wasn't a part of 12 wins last year or this year.

We're not winning with another QB. You're not going to beat teams that are going all in versus our penny pinching organization. What did they do with those Amari savings?

Guess what, if we bring in a better QB, that just means the front office can do even less in free agency than they are now to get the team just good enough for fans to keep buying tickets. We're going to keep adjusting downwards so that our ceiling is 2nd round of the playoffs.
I agree. Teams that want to win bring in players. Looks at the Philly and SF as great examples. Our front office will never do what is needed. They're seem prefectly fine with just good enough to get to the playoffs. Nothing is going to change until the FO feels the heat or sees the money stop coming in.

I found it and am already posting.

4 tackles, 0 sacks, 0 turnovers, 2-3 pressures. Yeah, where was Micah? Where was the lion who said he was going to show up? Saw nothing but a cub. Even Deebo Samuel tweeted after the game making fun of Micah and his lackluster performance.

Cowboys have to move on from Dak at all cost even if we have to pay another team draft picks and money to take him . I’d rather go in to season with Cooper Rush next year . We are paying 40 million to a 12 million dollar QB and it’s killing team and it’s only going to get worse when we need to keep other players . Cowboys are in an absolute death spiral with Dak’s contract right now .

Yes, I should have clarified. Dan Quinn folded like a cheap suit. All season long (including last year), if you paid close attention during big runs committed against our D, Dan Quinn schemed our D-line to stunt away from the opposing run plays that went for big gains. Dan Quinn's stunts absolutely have hurt this Defense against the run. Plus, his refusal to keep our DBs close to the line of scrimmage and bump opposing receivers/TEs at the line of scrimmage also killed us all season long. Over and over, Dan Quinn had our DBs lined up 8+ yards from the line of scrimmage, thus allowing opposing receivers & TEs to run "free will" and get open for big gain catches. There is more I am displeased about Dan Quinn, but you get my drift. The coaching staff and our Coordinators on both sides playcalling decisions hurt this team. Heck, every week post-game, Kurt Warner would create film breakdowns questioning the routes and plays called. It was that bad.
The clarification makes sense but i do think giving up only 10 points the second half should have been good enough to win. But again appreciate your clarification and I agree with most of your points.

That is rich coming from Deebo Samuel a guy who rushed for 11 yards (on 4 attempts), and caught 4 balls for 45 (he had one go for 17 yards and that is all he did all night)…

Deebo was non-existent yesterday but keep talking crap Deebo (must be nice to ride your defense and TE to victory) because you didn’t do crap!

How's that water, AC?

It has to be freezing.

Dak is floating on the door while you try and hold on for him. "I'll never let go, Dak". Meanwhile, he lets you sink for him and you're all too happy to do it.
Water is nice and sweet, especially when one adds y'alls Dak hating tears knowing full well Dak is coming back next season.
