Romo had a career day for the first 59 minutes of that game.
Unfortunately, on the final drive, the most important one of the game, with the game tied, yet another chance for him to change his perception and be the hero, he threw a pick at our 25 yard line, handing them the win.
The 500 yards and 5 TDs doesn't really matter at that point. When it came down to it, the drive that everyone and their mother knew was going to decide that game, he made the mistake that gave the game away. Period. You can point your finger at the defense for their play, and they deserved it, but they weren't the ones that handed Prater a chip shot game winning FG as time expired.
Although you make a valid point, you also have to look at that when your quarterback throws for 500 yards and 5 touchdowns and helps the team score 48 points ... it should be enough. I'm sorry, but the Denver loss belongs to the defense. Yes, Romo made a mistake in the end and threw a bad interception which lost us the game, but the fact of the matter is he shouldn't of been in that position ... he put up 48 freakin' points, like seriously ... they should have been running the ball and running out the clock by that time.
