March Madness is off and running today!

My Hogs avenged their loss to LSU and won their first game handily after being down in the first half and going on a 19-0 run.

Really weird watching roundball with so few fans, that's one the things I like about MM, the crazed crowds.

I'm actually going to try and watch a little of this tournament. May have to force myself to get through some of it. It's really a shame because I used to love March Madness. I honestly can't even name one college basketball player right now if my life depended on it. But I'll turn it on and see if I can stomach it until my wife gets off of work.

No huge upsets yet, but some good games

UCLA beat Michigan St last night in an OT play-in game. They play Rd1 on Sat

Florida beat Va Tech 75-70 in OT
Arkansas beat Colgate 85-68. CouchCoach can relax a day
Illinois smoked Drexel 78-49.
Texas Tech beat Utah St 65-53 on great defense

Oral Roberts leads Ohio St 53-50 with 8 minutes to go. THAT would be a big upset
Baylor drilling Hartford 37-21 at the half

Horrible loss for Horns. Another disappointing ending for Coach Smart. He seems to be on the hot seat every year . And this was his best team.

But congrats to Wildcats from Abilene who have a shot to make it to Sweet 16.

Had Zags, Baylor, TX and Illini in Final Four so good grief Texas.
Shaka is just a bad coach.

My Texas Tech squad is so well coached but just lacks that go to scorer.
Still have them to sweet Sixteen but eventually they'll hit a guard who gets hot from 3 and then it'll be over.

B12 was insane this year. Looks like they'll edge ahead of the B10 for the years best conf in this tourney.

Yea, Big 10 was top heavy strong but Big 12 tougher top to bottom.

Its going to be really tough if Baylor finally gets in Final 4 and not able t go.
