West Virginia lost
Texas Tech lost

Oklahoma (vs Gonzaga) and Kansas (vs USC) both play to tomorrow

I was watching that game. They had a few chances there late in the game to score and just couldn't take advantage.

They are a team that is easy to pull for.

Surprisingly great showing by the Pac 12 so far.
They could have 4-5 teams all in the Sweet 16...which is amazing, and a bit shocking.

You have to look at coaching when you lose a lot of close games.

Normally I'd agree but Coach Beard is arguably the hottest coaching candidate in the country.
This team just didn't have a closer.
He had them previously with Culver, Zhaire Smith, even Ramsey last year
5 star freshman Nimari Burnett might have been that guy but he left early in the season as he wasn't being featured.

Texas Tech basketball is in good shape going forward though.
Every Beard recruiting class has been better the season prior.
And its too early to say for sure but Tech likely returns about 75% of this team.

I'm not advocating this and I'm probably in the minority but i think it would be interesting to see the brackets set up where you play the team seeded next to you. 1 vs 2, 3 vs 4 and so on. Could create an interesting Final Four.

Looks like Zaga and Bama might be headed to a showdown. Tide went off yesterday. It;\'s one thing to throw up 30 3's but to make half of them is tough for any team to handle.

My Hogs get to play a school named for a TV preacher but they get them on Saturday, not Sunday like the Gators did.

Been a long time since there was some Wooooo Pig Soooouuuuuiiiiieeee in the Sweet 16, bout the same time as the Cowboys were actually a force in the playoffs.
