If I’m not mistaken isn’t this DC # 4 for Liufau ? It would seem this is make it or break it year in Dallas and if he were offered contract 2 in Dallas next year it would seem to be a Sam Williams prove it nominal amount type contract .

As a Will LB you send on blitz packages try and devise ways to use speed to harass the QB . His coverage skills should not be bottom shelf maybe CP can squeeze some toothpaste out ? Another 3rd rounder hitting potholes in the road. Compare this pick to this years 3rd rounder out Michigan yes another LB . Seems night & day difference so far .

As would all DCs. He wasn't assignment sound. One big play does not make up for giving it up because you're out of position consistently.

If Parker's playing him at DE, the team's given up on him at LB, and he just doesn't have the tools to make it at DE.

The team gets to see him every day at practice, and if they were starting Murray and Shemar James over him last season, I would guess that his performance during the week is pretty rough.

So they're doing something to salvage their pick with him, and it is probably not going to work. I wouldn't be surprised if he misses the 53.

Yes I watch every game live then rewatch at least once during the week.

He regressed last year due to Flus. I have no clue why Flus stuck with Murray and neither does anyone else. We questioned it all season. He can play in this league. Just needs the right DC. Having a new DC every year isn't helping. This will be his best chance with CP.

He was projected as a sixth round pick in several of the guides I followed. This was a draft blunder but it was Zimmer that supposedly pounded the table for him

Sam Williams a second rounder might get you a six on todays market outside chance a 5 . Liufau not a draft pick to be had.

There are plenty of lower draft picks that outperform where they were taken. The light may still come on. And this coaching staff may be the catalyst. I’m not holding my breath though.
