He isn't really good. He's an average QB but seems like a decent guy with a good attitude. I wouldn't mind him as a 3rd stringer . Would rather have him than Mccown.
normally these threads make me cry much like pulling a nose hair by mistake.Rumors are Denver may axe him for the other two qbs on their roster. Dak is the guy right now, but it's something to keep an eye out. Sanchez could be a decent backup for Prescott until Romo gets healthy.
I don't know why but I can't stop watching it......
Actually, I'm not against Sanchez. He'd be 100 times better than Kellen Moore even though I heard somewhere Kellen Moore had a 400+ yard game .. that he lost.I get it but at this point, beggars can't be choosers. It's not a completely horrible option. Judging him on this play alone is just as dumb as judging Romo on the seattle bobble.
Most of the time, them "average" guys are the best you can probably get as a backup. There's a reason why they are backing up, not starting.
I think Austin Davis or Sanchez would be nice backup options for Dallas. You can win games with Sanchez if he has to come in for 1 or 2 games. I think he could also help Dak as well.
I'm still thinking Jared Lorenzan, aka the "pillsbury throwboy" maybe the answer
Yea agreed it could be worse. Like giving up a 3rd for Mccown . I wouldn't mind Sanchez or Davis . Like I said Sanchez seems like a bright guy with a good attitude, he's just limited physically ( which most backups are).
I hope we give Showers the entire game next week to see what he's got. Regardless of how that turns out though, I suspect we need a veteran behind Dak for the foreseeable future.
Sanchez is borderline terrible, but he might very well be the best available.
