Marrinelli Defense

D only allowed 210 yards today. That is pretty darn good, and Miami only converted 1 of 10 third downs.

Does the Marrinelli defense remind anyone of the Flex Defense designed by Tom Landry in the regards of the bend but don't break concepts ? I'm starting to think this defense is outdated or on the fly changes are not incorporated.

They gave up 210 yards. 10% third down conversion rate.

Sorry Nate, just saw yours.

So with Romo in there the Defense is better ? or does he make the defense better ? what would happen if Romo had a Career ending injury does this mean the Defense will be bad again ? interesting !!!

When our offense is rolling, it means we have the ball at the 4 minute mark and we can drain it down to about a minute and 30. This gives the defense more energy and it gives the other team's offense many less opportunities to score as compared to constantly 3 and outting and only running 45 seconds off the clock.
