Marshawn Lynch's Vehicle Involved in Hit and Run

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident involving a sports utility vehicle registered to the Bills' Marshawn Lynch, but didn't know whether he was in the SUV when it struck and injured a female pedestrian early Saturday.[/FONT]

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Buffalo Police Department spokesman Mike DeGeorge said on Sunday that it's unclear whether the running back was driving or even in the SUV when the accident occurred around 3:30 a.m. Saturday at an intersection near Buffalo's downtown bar district.[/FONT]

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Citing department policy, DeGeorge declined to say whether police have contacted Lynch, who has been taking part in a series of Bills voluntary practices over the past two weeks.[/FONT]

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]He but could not be reached for comment and a message left with his agent, Michael Sullivan, was not immediately returned.[/FONT]

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Bills spokesman Scott Berchtold said Lynch's attorney was out of town and will address the matter when he returns. Otherwise, the team is declining comment at this time.[/FONT]

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]DeGeorge said the woman was injured but has been treated and released from a local hospital.[/FONT]

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Lynch was Buffalo's first-round pick in the 2007 draft out of California.[/FONT]

It appears to have happened 3.5 hours AFTER the date/deadline Goodell gave the teams as a grace period to not be fined. What a bad break for the poor Bills.

Lynch was out of town you say? I say SO! It was his car, everyone and their mother knows loaning out your car is a "No-No" even to family members.
