Wide receiver Martavis Bryant’s bid to resume his NFL career will reportedly take him to Dallas this week.

Dianna Russini of ***BLOCKED*** reports that Bryant is set to work out for the Cowboys on Tuesday. Bryant was formally reinstated from suspension by the NFL over the weekend.

Bryant was a 2014 Steelers fourth-round pick and he was suspended four games for a substance-abuse policy violation in 2015. He was suspended for the entire 2016 season after another violation and, after being traded to the Raiders, was suspended indefinitely in 2018.

I'm glad the Cowboys are finally acknowledging it and trying to do something to bring in any kind of improvement at WR.

Guys like Henry and Adams were available. It was so obvious that aggressively pursuing one of those guys was exactly what the team needed.

I genuinely think we win last night with either of them on the roster.

Agree. Hard physical battle last night. Pollard made a few plays but would have been nice to see Henry sharing the load on those inside runs.

Doesn’t look like there was a slam dunk available on Defense, next best answer is try and lift the offense.

He's 31. His main asset as far as I've understood (and yeah, I've watched some highlights just now) was his speed, and also his YAC ability. He's probably lost a step or two speed wise. He may still be quick enough that he can make some DBs miss.

But/and look. He's almost certainly only being considered for that last PS slot we have open. Not really going to hurt anything to sign him, if that happens. He'd still have to open some eyes in practice to be a candidate for the 53.

He's played. But yes, not at the NFL level. He's probably in good athletic shape, and maybe even football shape. However, there's good reason for skepticism that he's still an NFL-quality WR.

I can’t figure out how Cooks is such a complete non-factor.

it's mccarthys fault he calls the plays in why cooks is a non factor right now. everywhere cooks has played he has been productive.
