Marty B says start a petition for WR Marshall

.

I'd rather start a petition to get Marty B off his captain crunch eating *** and into a playbook or two.

doesnt matter if we have Irvin and Jerry Rice with Troy throwing them the ball , when the QB is running for his life hard to get the ball to them

Wouldn't happen but I'd give them RW11, Martellus Bennett and a 3rd for Marshall and the Broncos 2nd. Give us such a young dominating trio of Austin, Marshall and Witten.

Felix and Choice in the backfield and see if we could get a #1 for Barber still. We could handle the acceleration of the signing bonus' in both the RW11 and Barber contracts.

Ultimately have 2 firsts and 2 seconds. Get ourselves some o-line prospects, 1 of the best safeties in the draft and more d-line, secondary and lb depth to groom into starters. Only area needing youth on offense is the o-line. Everywhere else is ideal.

Wish it would happen but it wouldn't. Broncos got a kings ransom for Cutler and it will be no different with Marshall. Plus no one wants RW11 anymore, especially with that contract.

What don't you know? So much it is truly laughable. Im not even going to argue with you that bringing in Marshall is a bad idea, there is no point, you and A2R can go with your "guts" on that:rolleyes:, brilliant.

But to compare Marshall to Haley as the final piece? Are you serious?

1) Charles Haley had 6 years of experience before he came here, Marshall has 3 years of off and on experience.

2) Haley had been on Super Bowl teams before and knew what kind of hard work and mindset it took to get there (and this was a large part of what he contributed), Marshall could not tell you how to get to the Superbowl with a map, he has no idea at all.

3) Haley had a reputation as a solid, every down, play his guts out type player, Marshall is pretty close to the exact opposite.

Your claim that Marshall can some how come in here and show this team how to get to the super bowl is beyond absurd.

Wade Phillips, Jason Garrett, Tony Romo, Jason Witten, Demarcus Ware, Jay Ratliff and Keith Brooking are the people who need to show this team how to get to the SB.

Those are the leaders on this team and everyone else is to follow and execute in their roles. Brandon Marshall is not T.O and is probably the most underpaid athlete in the NFL when you look at his production and pedigree the past 3 seasons.

Not saying he isn't at all a knuckle head and probably a good reason they haven't committed financially to him but he is not a locker room cancer. He has never thrown any of his teammates under the bus, manipulate them against one another. He has had it out with management over $, not player personnel.

Mark my words, Mike Shannahan will be going after him if there's a real shot at getting him. Marshall's biggest issue is being off the field, not how he is with his teammates. The Baby T.O thing comes more from his on field play than personality. If you listen to Brandon Marshall his attitude and demeanor are much different than T.O's.

I'll take it if we give up a 7th and they give us Marshall and a 1st...
nice :laugh1: but they should have to throw in more than that

WR are a dime a dozen. Our best one was undrafted.

No doubt but I'd love to find a way to get rid of a $9 million a year WR who is not effective and hasn't been the greatest locker room presence for the under paid overachieving WR who is effective and just has had a bad history with the Broncos management who haven't paid him.

I think Phillips is serving this team well and utilizing JW as he should to get his game to the level its been for this team. Mart B has an approach I don't see in too many champions and if I can package him to turn a low 3rd into a mid round 2nd I would like to do that also.

Too bad we didn't jump on the Bengals offer of a 1st for Marty B. His camp looked too good but on game days the boy just doesn't have the mindset.

Can he block downfield on long Austin receptions? I kid....

I don't know if I want him. He's an awesome talent, but it speaks volumes when the Broncos deactivate him in a must-win, last game of the season game to get into the playoffs.

The Broncos deactivated him because BM said he was hurt and couldnt play but the trainers could find nothing physically wrong with him.

Translation.......He faked an injury to get out of playing.

Roy may suck, but at least he shows up 2 weeks early for the offseason program and works hard in practice and stays after practice to work with Romo and he keeps his mouth shut for the most part. HELL NO WOULD I TRADE ROY FOR BM OR TRADE PICKS FOR A PLAYER THAT FAKES INJURIES!!!

This.

You know that feeling you get when you remember the last food you ate at the onset of a severe stomach bug? That's how this makes me feel.

The last thing we need is another egomaniacal, divisive personality to give a half *** effort and blame our quarterback after the game.

No thanks.

some of you just do not get it.....the Colts are getting it done right now with Reggie Wayne and a bunch of nobodies. Why? Because the QB, OL and offensive coordinator are good at what they do. Our OL and offensive coordinator need to get BETTER. Our QB is good enough, but we need to protect better and call a better game

Good analogy!!!

The last thing we need in the lockerroom is "Baby TO" complaining that Austin is getting all the balls.;)

Memo to Bennett: Work on catching the ball. Leave the wheeling and dealing to the big boys.

Bennett = Twit.

That Fasano trade is looking better with every Twit! Jerry achieved the Wow he was in search of... Im just glad Marty B is Romo friendly bc we may need him to be the scape goat next yr....
