This is definatley something the Organization wanted the Media to know.

Yep. We all have our differing viewpoints on the content (lyrics, etc.) on the video itself, but this, like many things in corporate society, boils down to simply a dollars and cents issue. You can hate it. You can love it. Doesn't really matter in the end. Someone's gonna pay.

Contrary to popular belief, just like me, you are stating "opinions" and not facts.

Not once did I state that Adam Jones should have been suspended. What I stated is that "if" the league hadn't stepped in, Adam Jones wouldn't have received a punishment, Jerry Jones himself stated that.

And yet MB gets a $20,000 fine?

last year Jerry Jones wasn't trying to get tough with players, he was his enabling self

I'm thinking his discipline may come from the NFL, over the Cowboys, and will be some games missed as well as money lost. The only way I think he escapes that is if charges are dropped.

Eh, I don't think Spencer's gonna get suspended for what he did. Recent trends suggest Spencer will be fined only. Just a matter of how much.

The Giants are playing this one the right way. Under the CBA, the league and not the teams have the right to impose discipline for violations of the substance-abuse policy, which includes alcohol and drug offenses. (That said, there’s language in Paragraph 11 of the Standard Player Contract that permits a player to be cut if he ”has engaged in personal conduct reasonably judged by Club to adversely affect or reflect on Club.” Lesser forms of discipline, however, apparently aren’t allowed.) After the legal process is resolved (and if McKenzie is convicted of or pleads guilty to the charges), he’ll be subject to a fine or a suspension from the league office.

unless you're hearing that this isn't Spencer's 1st run-in with the league's personal conduct policy?

I think the scuffle with two off duty cops is a factor in a possible suspension. Maybe only a game, but I won't be shocked at 2 games.

See my edit. Looks like this might fall under the substance abuse policy. Different rules. Stil don't think he gets suspended.
