Man some of ya'll just want this team and players to fail. I don't know how you can take a negative spin on that interview unless you are trying to our damnedest to look for something negative.
Dude basically said that he is not used to how the Cowboys practice and he has to get in better shape to feel comfortable practicing at that pace. That should tell volumes about this coaching staff and the intensity they have our guys working at in practice! He has the right attitude and appears to be up to the challenge.
He's officially changing his name to "Hamstring".
This place kills me...sign a guy off the street and expect him to perform like a starter...Give this guy time to acclimate!!!! Cowboys got something here. If they can just show some patience..they might have something. And I'm not talking 2-3 weeks. Give him this year....an off season-training camp next year. Guy has got all the things you are looking for in a DT. One thing that I hate about he Cowboys....they are so fast to rush to judgement on players. Let guys develop!!!
Interesting. Was listening to NFL Radio yesterday and Bugger McFarland (Former Tampa Bay player). He said Austin had trained in Florida the last two summers and that he (Bugger) had watched him work out. Said Austin had gained too much weight and that and this is a quote "looked like he had a pack of hot dogs in his neck". Said he needed to drop 20 pounds and that with his quickness and power he could be something special. I think if Bugger could see it, our coaches can see it even better. Looks for this guy to drop weight and get into Dallas Football shape quick. I think we are playing a totally different defense with Miami was and therefore he needs to get his body in shape to fit our defense. I actually think it could work out and if it doesn't he can be a bouncer at a Miami Strip Club.

Not saying he works out, but if he does, and Nevis does, and Selvie continues to play out of his mind, maybe DL wont be such a huge priority in the draft. Ware will be back soon. Crawford will be back from injury. Wilber is showing improvement every week. Hatcher is playing out of his mind. We got rid of some cancer in Ratliff. Spencer will not be back. So, we would be 7 deep going into the draft if they all work out, 8 if Vega amounts to anything.
I still want to address the DL in the draft twice......one DE, one DT.
Oohhhhh, I love her. If she ever gave me the time of day.......my wife better worry. Salma in Dogma was at her peak IMO, absolutely gorgeous!
Austin got some time on the field vs the lions. it's a good start.
I saw that. Can't say I actually watched him specifically on any play, but I did notice him in between plays. He was excited to be out there you could tell, .. and he was interacting with teammates in between plays, so that is a good thing.
I've got my fingers crossed.
