I left him out but I didn't forgot him when you're a desperate team that's struggling at QB you can't rule anything out. From the time Aikman was released to starting Romo the Cowboys went through a number of QBs.

I have to agree, with this team you can never say never.

I doubt they move to Moore eventually but you never really know for sure with Jerry.

You can never say never when you're in a desperate situation at QB. Hard to win games with a QB that turns the ball over and a defense that can't force any turnovers.

I could be wrong but I think they give Cassel the start until Romo is healthy regardless.

It really depends on how things go the next two weeks ultimately.

They probably will because Moore has no starting experience and they aren't going back to Weeden. But if what we saw yesterday continues with Cassel the next 2 games and the Cowboys are sitting at 2-6 they might give Moore a try because the season will pretty much be over. At 2-6 the Cowboys would have to go 7-1 to have a realistic shot at the playoffs and even with Romo and Dez a turnaround like that would be highly unlikely.

I hope Cassel can eliminate the mistakes but the Seattle defense will be a tough test.

I think they will reign him in a little but still pass down field when the defender does not have a clear shot at the ball only the WR, nothing passed into tight quarters.

Anything is possible if Cassel continues to stink it up but Garrett seems to give the guys chances before he yanks them.

He was pretty mobile and accurate when he got his feet underneath him. He had some pretty decent passes. The problem is that he is too prone to throwing it while out of position, on the run, or off his back foot. He tries to throw into too many tight windows, but doesn't have the arm strength to do it anymore. All 3 of his passes were picked because of his lack of arm strength.

That lame duck throw to Williams was inexcusable. It looked like a punt.

The success of the running game was mainly due to having a guy capable of passing in the NFL, but there is a reason why he was a 3rd string QB in Buffalo. He tends to stare down receivers. His mistakes directly cost us the game, there is no doubt about it. You don't win many games in the NFL giving it up 3 times.

The 1st INT was due to the pass rushet getting his arm up at the last second and Cassel trying to throw around him.

I don't know what happened on the lame duck. Someone suggested it might have been tipped or his arm might have been hit but I have not reviewed that part of the play. The defender did rake his arm across the WRs face mask on that play which should have been a penalty.

On the INT intended for Butler it seemed that Butler cut the route off a bit.

The throw on the out route to Williams was not his fault. Williams needs to learn how to cut off a route and work back a yard or two. Im not even sure what to call that route he ran

Garrett gave Weeden 3 games and benched him but he may have to do the same with Cassel after 3 games if the Cowboys are sitting at 2-6. If they're going to give Moore a shot they want to do it while they still have some life. A loss to Seattle on Sunday is going to start adding nails to the Cowboys coffin. Not even 8 wins was good enough to get them in the playoffs from 2011 to 2013. They even missed the playoffs with 9 wins in 2008. If Cassel struggles the next 2 games I would turn to Moore vs the Bucs because they're the most beatable team left until Romo gets back.

They have a young QB who's going through some growing pains so that would be a good game to start Moore if we continue to lose with Cassel. I don't need to see more than 3 straight losses with a QB to know it's not working out with them. Granted Cassel is going to have a tough time rebounding vs the Legion of Doom but if he stinks vs Philly who's having their own QB issues then I've seen enough and it's time for another change.

No one was within 3 yards of him on the lame duck. It was just a bad throw.
