Early in the game commentator John Lynch shared a conversation he had with Cassell, in the conversation, Cassell shared with Lynch that the week he was named starter he couldn't find a coach to coach him. Did anyone find that comment disturbing? He must've shared that with Lynch for a reason. Maybe it's a non-issue because he's a vet, but I always presumed that if someone wanted to get coached up a coach would be available.

Thoughts?

This is why you get a new coach for when we draft a new qb... or maybe we hope Romo turns into that qb coach.

I hope we get more detail on this throughout the week. I really find this hard to believe. If true, wow.........

They were all watching the tape , and coaching up the new starter was not yet part of "the process" !

Wait, what now? How'd I miss this comment? He said the week he was named starter he couldn't find a coach to coach him? That doesn't make any sense (not knocking you here, just confused).

I heard that too. He said it was a crazy time, still getting settled after the move and his wife was 36 weeks pregnant and couldn't find a coach to coach him. Hearing things like that make you wonder where the focus is on this team. Just another tidbit to shake your faith in this organization and where their priorities are.

any chance tat he was talking about an outside coach for some extra reps? Sure hope it wasn't insinuated that it was any of the current offensive coaches.

No it was definitely our offensive coaches.
Here's the second bombshell, according to Lynch, the reason why he couldn't find a coach was because they were too busy putting the game plan together.

I heard that and was hoping it was just hot air like when we were down by 4 and Lynch kept talking about how we had a weapon with bailey....

I have a feeling that Lynch was not supposed to broadcast that part of the convo to the public.

Exactly. What the hell is Wade Wilson doing as QB coach if he's not actually coaching QBs?

Is Wade missing from taking long lunches now?......C'mon Man!.....Is Matt saying Wade got more hours on his timesheet than he's actually working.....time for HR and an audit.

Color me surprised. Glad someone spoke the truth, of course he'll back away from the comment. But still, as things get worse, more truth will come out, and we'll all see why this team is unprepared every week.

Romo at 36yrs old, Payton is the only coach that could come in here and not totally blow Romo's mind with a new offensive scheme. It ain't happening folks...

Sorry about the lack of QB coaching but Garrett had more important things to do like clapping.
