I'm glad I work smack in downtown Dallas...I am absolutely going to be at the parade on Thursday! The AAC is like a 15 minute walk away :)

Actually, I just traced the entire route, and realized that it passes right by the grassy knoll at Dealey Plaza where JFK was shot.

http://www.***BANNED-URL***/news/co...-official-mavs-parade-at-10-a.m.-thursday.ece

Another Mavs spokeswoman, Gina Calvert, said the parade will begin at the Dallas Convention Center — at Griffin and Young streets — and end at the American Airlines Center.

The route will travel west along Young Street before turning right onto Houston Street.

The parade will then turn left on Continental Avenue and then right on Victory Avenue all the way to the Mavs’ home at Victory and Olive Street.

....after the right on Houston, the parade goes right through Houston & Elm...that is where the 6th floor Museum is...

...been meaning to get over there so this is a great chance to kill two...err...I mean...

Epic win by the Mavericks, so proud to be a Mavs fan and extremely happy for Dirk and Kidd who FINALLY have their rings, Not to mentions Terry, Peja, Marion and the other guys who have waited for a long time.

I'm 20, and we haven't had any championships since I have been able to see them and since I have been a sports fan so I've never been to a parade. So I have no idea what exactly happens, do thee designated ares for you to go stand, is the AAC the place to be?

They should also make the parade route go through the Canyon of Heroes. If they did, I would show up! Who cares that it's in NY!

Wilt was to Russell as Lebron is to MJ, bigger and more physically gifted but just didnt have "it".

Wilt did put up arguably the most ridiculous numbers in the history of professional athletics, though.

LeBron left a terrible team and signed w/ the Heat as a free agent. so he could win a title

Kidd faked a headache and forced his way off of a terrible team so he can win a title.

Both made great decisions

I won't ever blame Kidd for doing what he did. And I'm a Nets fan.

And really, everyone thought the Mavs got taken to the cleaners in that deal anyway. It's not like he screwed over the Nets.

Agreed. That why I said both made great decisions.

The truth is they should have blown that team up way before that anyway and NEVER should have re-signed Vince Carter for $60M. I think they did that just to say they had some stars b/c Brooklyn was getting closer at that time

That owner was a joke and Kidd got it and got his ring. Good for him

It basically ended up being Kidd for Harris(Who was moved in the DWill trade but not what got it done, Favors was) for Ryan Anderson(Who turned into Courtney Lee who they then turned into absolutely nothing) some cash and Damion James. The Mavs won
