Congrats to the Mavs and all of the metroplex.the Mavs and Rangers have had great year. now im waiting on the Cowboys.

As a Lakers fan I am disappointed with the way the season panned out but I am very happy that the Miami Heat didn't win it all! Congrats Mavs fans on winning the championship (finally) and not allowing Miami to buy a title.

Also thought it was very classy of Cuban to have the original owner of the Mavs on the podium when the trophy was presented.

It's like both Dirk and Terry have said repeatedly: the Spurs/Mavs rivalry is great but lacking in one key obvious area--the Spurs have the all the rings. Terry even used to say the Spurs were like the Mavs big brother and even if the Mavs beat them in the playoffs sometimes, without a Mavs title, they would remain the little borther trying to get what big bro has.

My guess is SA is extra motivated now. They'll have to move some parts around this offseason though.

holy crap, Cuban's turn at the post-game press conference just now was some EPIC-level trolling, WOW.

No, he wasn't trolling. He was talking about the Mavs fans in the arena were louder and chanting more throughout the game than the Heat fans. (ie, they punked the Heat's fans during the game)

They said it was almost like a Mavs home game there last night.

lol, it happens for every championship. Papers always prepare like either team could win, instead of trying to put together a spread in an hour for print the next day.

In some poor third world country, there are a bunch of kids sporting free Steelers Championship hats from this year.
