Well Well Game 5

Nice job Mavs (in spite of refs)

Technically this should be 2-2 series, but oh well

All that matters is there is no sweep for Nuggets ;)

8th time is the charm?

I don't see the Mavs having much of a chance in Denver on Wednesday, but I will watch just the same. Josh Howard is not going to get any rest the rest of the way, and you can tell his ankles are killing him.

Exactly, just enjoying the Mavs while I can. Yeah I couldn't believe Howard was playing as long as he did. We couldn't of won the game without him though.

He played pretty well last night, showed some toughness.

Makes me sick that this has happened to this team.

Dirk finally realised last night that he will get fouled 9 times out of 10 if he just goes to the basket.

I love this Mavs team. They may not be the best team in the league but they play good team basketball.

I wish the series was 2-2 like it should be but if they can somehow win game 5 than we'd have a series on our hands.

If Anderson is out that really hurts their interior.

The NBA decided it wanted to make more money, so they made it were the Mavs would win last night.

Hopefully they'll forget to call off the dogs like they did in the Mavs vs Heat series.

PLAYOFF DRAMA: Kenyon Martin Flips Off The Crowd+LaLa Gets Escorted Out The Game!

http://i368.***BLOCKED***/albums/oo126/theybf/May%2009/bb782fdf.jpg
Apparently LaLa Vasquez, fiance of Denver Nugget Carmelo Anthony, got into it with Dallas fans at last night’s playoff game. After LaLa popped off on some folks sitting next to her–likely after they talked some smack to her–she cussed them out, tried to throw something at them and fight. Police had to come in and escort her out the building for her safety. She posted on Twiter that she had to send their son Kiyan back to the hotel because “the Dallas fans go too hard.” Drama! What would the “Charm School” judges say? Nevermind.

That all came after Dallas Maverick owner Mark Cuban had to issue an apology for some unclassy and mean words he said to Nugget baller Kenyon Martin’s mom in the stands. And after Kenyon arrived to the Dallas stadium yesterday–with his girl Trina on his arm–and flipped off the crowd. Damn.

What kind of mother does something like that? Who cares if the fans were giving her crap. You don't pop off like she did and try to fight the fans w/ your little freakin KID in the next seat.

What an idiot.

There is just way to much THUG in the NBA nowadays.

My intitial prediction of this one going 7 games--with the Denver winning fairly easily at home 3 times and Dallas winning 3 tight ones at home just may have come true if not for the game 3 funky ending. Hopefully the Mavs can make it a closer game (or even win) this time in Denver and you can watch the two go at it again on Friday.

Agree, family is off limits...not sure about trampy, loudmouth girlfriends though! :muttley:

Not sure if Kenyon's woman applies....don't know her, she may be cool for all I know, but some say otherwise.

i dont like dallas, being a spurs fan, but i kinda want them to win tomorrow, it would make the series very interesting. the nuggets have lost 4 in a row in the playoffs quite often recently

Yeah, I knew you were no Mavs fan...just wanting more hoops.

If Dallas won 4 in a row it would be the first time in the history of the NBA that a team rallied from 0-3 to win a series. If it were 2-2 now like it should be, then they would have a shot...I say maybe 30% or so. As of now, history says they have no shot to win the series, but how wild would that be if they did!

Actually, It's Carmelo's woman who was involved in the incident. Other than being a MTV personality, she's not known for being loud, trampy, etc.

Kenyon's girl, Trina, wasn't involved in anything, but she's known to be a bit trampy. She's a rapper, who also used to date Lil Wayne (yuck)

Stand corrected. For some reason I thought of Kenyon's woman--who I've heard can be a bit rough. That after I already read it was Melo's....who I know nothing about really.
