The only returning cast member I'm aware of from SOA is Marcus Alvarez, president of the Mayans MC.

I did read that Gemma makes one appearance somehow. Guessing a flashback.

I suspect I'll watch that first episode at least 3-4 times.

Interesting that he decided to do this after SOA instead of a prequel like Better Call Saul where he could bring in some earlier cast members.

But I will be watching it and hope this does better than his last effort after SOA, The ******* Executioner. Better to stay with topics he knows.

I wish they'd do another "The Shield", liked that as well as SOA.

I did not watch the original series but have seen Edward James Olmos in a commercial trailer for the new series. Was Olmos in the original series? I like his work.

I don't remember him being in it, but Jimmy Smits was in it.

He wasn't in SOA. I haven't seen him in much but I do not watch a lot of TV.

One of the things I really liked about SOA, was the same as Breaking Bad, they knew how and when to end it.
