Maybe because Garrett has a brain and you do not, Donovan?

Meh, that's just a general observation based off of not being involved enough to know it's apples to oranges. Also when i read Donovan was the author of the statement i began to smile.

seriously this is slow times for it to even have legs..witch it don't with me. Now does Garrett need to work on this game clock management? " yes sir' does he need to call plays? "Nope" does he need better talent?..one could make an argument for that on the "D" side along with the running the clock down to the last sec on "every snap" oh,and that pesky non-excusable injury bug thing.

other than that Good work Donovan....just sad really. He knows the longer Garrett gels and the longer he builds the team his way the more he has a shot...true story. get him out now...Donovan has spoken..;)

If Donovan McNabb, alias chunkies, had a brain, he would have taken it out to play with...long ago. That or form a wrestling tag team with Chris Carter.

McNabb right after his disgraceful performance in the Super Bowl in which he was puking/dry-heaving in the huddle and the Eagles couldn't run a no-huddle offense when they desperately needed to BECAUSE THEIR QB WASN'T IN GOOD-ENOUGH SHAPE TO DO SO:

"I wasn't sick, I was just tired."

Then months later, after T.O. called him out publicly for getting tired in the Super Bowl:

"I wasn't tired."

That about sums up McNabb's career to me and it wasn't the only time his lack of conditioning hurt his team. Remember when he puked on the field during a game at Tampa Bay? Remember when Mike Shanahan benched him for being out of shape?

Thanks for the memories, #5!

The Eagles had a Super Bowl winning defense, and Super Bowl winning cast of offensive players.....and McNabb kept screwing it up every year.

Limbaugh was right.

I think McNabb goes a bit too far but as I have said I would have fired Garrett after last season. Have to admit I find it strange how many here and blast Garrett but then get upset when McNabb does it. lol

Let's imagine Garrett is gone, and our new coach is the defensive coordinator for the Ravens or Niners or Cardinals.

How does that help anything?

Stay the course. Garrett is not the problem, it's that record-breaking disgusting defense with its complete lack of pass rush. If Ware and company could have gotten pressure, we wouldn't be debating this right now.

Garrett does not labor under a very bad GM. Garrett has had teams with enough talent to win the NFC East the past three years. He hasn't. Close but no cigar.

I disagree and dissent. He DOES labor under a very bad GM. That is a fack, Jack.

It be a tribal thing: WE can blast Garrett but when a outsider blasts one of our own, it is time to close ranks and defene our own and, like Teague, defend the star.
Hail, I'd defend Bill Bates and Quincy if Donovan McFlabb bad-mouthed them.

Garrett deserves praise in my estimation. The team has gotten considerably younger throughout his tenure; he seems intent on his team getting stronger along the line of scrimage, and I like his stance on employing only the RKG. I say give him a 5 year extention and continue the process.

Yes he does. Regardless of what you think of Garrett's credentials, no coach will be successful underneath the worst GM in football.

McNabb is an idiot. Wade needed to go, never should have been hired. Jerry should have given the HC job when he first thought of doing it, before he let his son Stephen talk him into hiring Wade and making Garrett the OC and learn how to be the HC under Wade.
