Maybe because Garrett has a brain and you do not, Donovan?

I grasp his point, and there is validity to it. However, the circumstances under which Garrett was brought in were different than the circumstances under which Phillips was brought it. Having acknowledged that difference, you can justify firing Garrett without even bringing Phillips into the discussion.

Good points, like you said there are reasons to fire Garrett that have nothing to do with Wade.

He would've easily had more success if not for some of his game day screw ups.

Garrett has not done his part when it matters.

Granted, I'm not excusing him, but he has been saddled with a GM with no ability or plan to build a team. A GM that undercuts him hiring his staff, with his players, in the media. He has disregarded the coaches authority on National TV going down and telling him to pull a player, and contradicted him in the media by saying Beullar wasn't going anywhere. No coach can have the level of success here that Jimmy enjoyed because Jerry has to much control. Besides that say what you want about Garrett but Jerry hired him as the heir apparent, then humiliated him to the media saying he was in training. Yeah Garrett isn't our biggest issue.

I think McNabb goes a bit too far but as I have said I would have fired Garrett after last season. Have to admit I find it strange how many here and blast Garrett but then get upset when McNabb does it. lol

Just the thought that a real live fool...like McBarf would say anything against our coach even if I felt similar at an earlier point makes me want to bash his silly pea brain. Remember this is the guy who didn't understand that the NFL has ties.

Is this the same Donovan McNabb that laughed when the Cowboys gave Romo the big contract extension, saying he hasn't done anything to earn it?

McNabb needs to go home and do two things:
1. Count his Super Bowl rings.
2. Look up who Romo beat during his lone playoff win.

and 3. Change his name to McNobb

Someone on this board said it more eloquently than me, but Jerry and Garrett both can't be doing awful jobs at the same time if we're 8-8.

It is this kind of comedy that makes my day

The sheer blindness it takes to make a statement like this is truly rare but I have come to expect it from Garrett groupies

It's a simple concept, but even simple concepts escape the indescribably low comprehension level of the troll known as visionary.

Someone should just walk up to Donovan's grill and state unconditionally: 'If we want an opinion from YOU, we'll beat it out of you.'

Thus endith the reading of the humor...lesson learned.

Jason Garrett is like a farmer who has gone through two decade worst draughts, and then gets hit by a hurricane and then is asked how come his fields aren't in better shape? Lazy?

Pay very close attention folks. The line between logical football intelligence and people who can only see wins and losses is clearly being drawn in this thread. Be wary of those who don't take issue with what McNabb said. Don't bother to argue with them. They will refuse to see reason. They are here to make sarcastic comments and push their own agenda. But make no mistake, there is nothing to be learned from them (other than how not to be)...just as there is nothing to learn from McNabb.

Garrett does not labor under a very bad GM. Garrett has had teams with enough talent to win the NFC East the past three years. He hasn't. Close but no cigar.

you would like to support that claim

Yes JG has a brain. And it tends to flatulate during games.

Ahh, the bi-yearly McFlabb Cowboy rant. Not going to agree or disagree(mostly agree) with him but he needs to get his facts straight when unloading on someone. I wonder if Donovan backed-up Jaworski just like Garrett did for Marino........

Ya have to have credibility and facts behind you if you want to win an argument Donovan, neither of which he possesses.

The Eagles had a Super Bowl winning defense, and Super Bowl winning cast of offensive players.....and McNabb kept screwing it up every year.

Limbaugh was right.

Limbaugh was and will continue to be a race baiting idiot. I'm not a fan of McNabb by any means but my disdain for Limbaugh is much deeper by a long shot.

I'm sorry, I don't see the need for heirloom searches as justification for personal smears directly related to people who have never liked, cooperated with, or looked favorably upon the Cowboys.

That should be enough of a response for any Cowboy fan to immediately gear up, and reply with ES & die...in that order.
