The issue is we changed the defense from a 4/3 to a 3/4. Then they tried to blend the defense by having DLaw and Griffin put their hand on the ground. I don’t understand why you would change to a 3/4 when we don’t have the linemen for that defense. I am hoping Gregory can play outside linebacker in this scheme.

I hate to bring this up, but remember when Aaron Rodgers said relax when the Packers were on a bad stretch? That bad stretch saw the green bay defense collapse. They even gave up once 50 points in one of those games. BigMac happened to be their coach. An odd coincidence.

The play on the field has regressed for the defense. They let the best 2 DB's go and have no one to fill their roles. Most of our free agents aren't working out and only the 2 high draft picks really contribute. Injuries are a part of the issue, new scheme and players still learning is another, and the other is these guys aren't good enough to overcome their mistakes or lack of knowledge. So if they aren't lined up perfect, it's a broken play with almost no chance to recover.
