Defense can't win the game every week. Sometimes the Quarterback needs to take over when the Defense has an off day.

Defense also can't always rely on the offense to control TOP or to help put the team up by double digit leads. Allowing their pass rush to thrive. Sometimes games are going to be close and the defense still needs to figure out ways to shut down the run.

This just proves that this team goes as the defense goes. If they aren't giving the offense short fields off turnovers and scoring by themselves, the offense is incapable of putting up points. Offense is our Achilles heel.

I'm with the crowd that says Today most of the Team was horrible. It just nerves me that the homers always throw everyone else under the bus after a loss. The only bright spot at times, that even gave us a chance today that I saw was the Running game at times.

Team just wasn't ready today. It was one of those games. We needed the offense to step up with the defense playing so bad. But with mediocre to bad qb play, penalties and shotty red zone offense, we couldn't get it done, today.

This will get cleaned up, I have no worries about it.

Circumstances alter cases when we are playing with a lead and other teams have to pass this defense looks great.
When this defense gets hit in the mouth with a big running play and we have to start to play from behind with teams running the ball we look very mortal

Cuz Quinn was thoroughly outclassed.

But then there's the offense...face-palm- smh.

You have to beat the bad teams on the schedule. Whoever does is the team that usually makes it deep in the playoffs, or the Super Bowl. We are either not as good as we think we are, or this was just a fluke. Time will tell. Usually the first couple games mean nothing because everyone is out of shape. Come week 4 we start seeing who the real teams are.
