Maybe the right move is to trade Micah

What about this front office makes you think we can execute a trade and get anything worthwhile back?
Why do people say this?

The front office of any team has really no say in the return they get for a player. There's no negotiating - the offers are the offers.

Imagine watching how bad this defense is at rushing the passer and saying “lets trade a top-5 pass rusher in the league”
How many games is Parsons going to win playing with 10 JAGs playing with him on defense? Because that’s what the future looks like after paying Parsons with the bloated Diggs, Martin, Dak, Steele and CeeDee contracts already on the books.

Hell throw in Diggs too.. he keeps playing soft u trade him and pay bland .. that’s if bland keeps playing at a high level.. 10 million saved as a post June trade. This soft/weak crap pisses me off more than anything

The right move would be to offer Micah up as trade bait, actually make some calls don't just sit there and then see what comes of it. What they can't do is pay top dollar for a guy who can't always impact the game. I'd love to keep him but you can do with with a few draft picks and lower priced free agents than you can with 1 guy.

I’ve never been a fan of this idea and not even sure that I am right now but the Cowboys are in big big trouble with Dak and some of the other veterans they paid.

We have so many holes and a front office that does nothing to improve in free agency.

I think anyone that can be traded for valuable picks has to be considered.

We have no RB’s, WR’s are mediocre, holes on the OL coming up, front 7 on defense is atrocious, and Diggs is only good against the pass.

Also, this offense goes through Dak’s arm and that’s just not a winning recipe.

The Cowboys need to dump as many contracts as they can, get picks, and get younger and faster.

If Parsons gets you multiple firsts then you have to really consider it.

The Lions are where they are now because they made bold moves that got them a ton of draft picks.
The Cowboys can't get better until they get rid of Dak. Complete waste of money paying him.

Exactly.

They have screwed this team up bigtime.

We paid a QB that needs a ton of help and we don’t have the resources to help him.

It’s absolutely moronic how they played this.

It’s like one of these delusional homers on this site run the team.

I think they can but they need to get very young around him.

Parsons may have to go unfortunately.

If they just keep doing what they’re doing then Dallas is just going to be mediocre for years.

I say trade anybody on this team making good money and start over-rebuild.. But you still have the idiot running the draft and trades etc. So, what would change?? In 3 years we'd be right back here. Jerry Jones...the anti-Cowboy gift that gives year-round.

There is not a bunch i would bet on when it comes to the Cowboys..i will bet on the fact Jerry will sign #11 to a very long large deal next because thats HIS pick...and he likes Micah he isnt trying to build a winning team he is building a collection of players he picked and likes...period.

It’s the smart move. Which is why it’ll never happen. Instead big and little will make him the highest paid defensive player in history and keep right on being mediocre

You think that's how negotiation works. Offers come in with no ability to counter or reject the offer? Really?

You literally know what the minimum for Adams is right now. Sure, no one is willing to take that deal, but the Raiders put it out there. He didn't get traded because of his contract and age.

“Maybe”? LOL

Been saying this since last year
He is a total tool
He needs a 3-4 defense or hes not worth the money or the mouth

In the NFL, pretty much. Teams are willing to pay what they're willing to pay - they all have "grades" on players, it doesn't matter who the selling team is.

So in other words the Raiders have tried to negotiate and failed. Just like the 49ers and Aiyuk.

Oh we need Parsons. I’m thinking big picture.

Signing these vets and putting nothing but rookies and scrubs around them is not the way though.

Dallas has trapped themselves in a dead end scenario with the Dak Prescott signing and Parsons as the highest paid non-QB will do nothing but cement that.

So why single out Micah? Hes the best player on that side of the ball.

Id rather trade Diggs than Micah

It is what it is.

But I don’t think it’ll make a difference. Honestly. They’ll blow some of the picks. Some of the guys will come in and play well.

It won’t lead to a championship though.

The only chance this FO wins a title is if they fall *** backwards into an elite QB. I’m talking Mahomes, Brady or Manning type elite.
