Working on the details.

HBO and Showtime in the mix.

$250 mega fight.

Both are much older than prime fighters... But Mayweather fights young. Pacquiao I don't think so.

Shame they didn't find this earlier.

The problem with Mayweather is he boxes like it is soccer. He simply avoids damage and doesn't allow scoring.
He is arguably the best defensive fighter of all-time.
It is also makes him undeniably boring.

Manny is an offensive fighter.
He's more beatable because he will take hits to deliver them.
He will box or he will slug it out.

While it makes sense to assume Mayweather wins this fight any real fan shoot be hoping he doesn't.
What would be exciting is to see Mayweather lose than come out of his defensive shell and actually fight in a rematch.

The fact Mayweather is easily the best fighter alive is one of the biggest problems with the sport.

It didn't happen earlier because Money was scared and kept fighting chumps to keep his unbeaten record. So yeah, it's a shame. We need another true champion to lift boxing from the ashes. We need another Mike Tyson or Oscar De La Hoya in the sport of boxing.

Your post is representative of how Mayweather fought most of his career. If you watch his last 10 fights or so.... He TAKES IT TO the opponent. Not so defensive, more offensive (that's why I think he took/takes steroids)..

Manny is beatable simply because he is not Mayweather.... Meaning: Floyd sees every shot he us throwing, he sees just about every move the opponent is making. Manny will attack but doesn't have same vision.

He was concerned that he could lose. But he fought top fighters. Not all fighter fight all in their prime fighters. Just doesn't happen.

Again, I don't even think it will be close.

If it happens, it's only because someone located Floyd's testicles. He's been scared for years of this fight.

Honestly, not his biggest fan. But I see his career for what it is. Great! undefeated.

You really can't believe he has ever been afraid of any fighter or fight.
He probably just didn't want to take a chance on losing. There is a difference. (Referee decision, having an off night, lucky punch, etc)

Great? Not yet. Watered down? Most definitely. Pacman can and will beat him.

How you ask? Cuz Pac is gonna eat lightning, and crap thunder.

Floyd has one KO in his last 6 or 7 fights.
He is a counter punching marvel but he lacks power.

He can occasionally pick a round to be aggressive but it is still rare and the edge he has over most guys is insane.

No other way to put it, except painfully boring and a waste of money to watch live on PPV.
Thankfully the fights hit the net within 24 hours anyways.

.

He has busted up the face of most of those 6 or 7 fights. Punishing shots to the head/face.

I know, it's crazy, he picks a round here and there ... When he does.... The opponent pays.
