Mazi has in my opinion looked awful in both preseason games. For all the touting his size, strength, and so on just dont see it here. He is pushed around willy nilly on the line and dont believe this is befitting a first round draft pick. I am predicting a bust of Taco proportions here. Just one of the worst pics in Cowboys history. And now with the possibility of Overshown being gone for the season a disastrous 2023 draft. We cannot get to the next level with misses like these and that has been the history in Dallas.

Have you not been watching preseason? He’s slow to get off the ball and he’s being pushed around by second and third stringers. He’s not creating any havoc upfront. He’s been far from the war daddy we’ve been hoping for. The training camp reports on him have been blah. Stephen was asked what young players have stood out so far in camp, and he never mentioned Mazi. He’s received more criticism from the fanbase and some in the media than any first round pick I can remember in a long time. I don’t remember Taco getting roasted this much as a rookie. McCarthy was asked about his performance in the first preseason game, and all he said was he’s a young player and needs work like everyone. You could tell he was disappointed in his play. Even Mazi admitted he didn’t play well in the first preseason game, and he looked worse this past week.

Reall, best in DECADES.......LOL! The O-Line is in major trouble because it has no depth and it's injury prone. As for the D, there is no real run stopper on it. JJ wasted the top two picks on Michigan slugs, one is a first rd pick who has played more time in preseason games than any other 1st rounder has in YEARS and the reason for this is believe he's looked real bad and he's facing dudes that are going to end up on Practice Squads or are going to be cut because they're not good enough to play in the league. The 2nd rd pick this year has been dealing with feet issues and if it wasn't for the fact that he's a high draft pick he would be in danger of being cut or end up on a Practice Squad. 1st and 2nd picks are suppose to come in and turn heads in camp, what happen to ours???????????????? LOL!

Have you heard anything out of camp about Mazi looking great or doing amazing things? I haven't heard anything like that AT ALL. I think that is more unusual/concerning than the 2 down pre-season games.

Sometimes players take time to develop. I'll give Mazi some time. Everyone isn't a Micah or Cee Dee where they are making massive contributions the first year. Remember how Tolbert looked last year, and now he's the talk of the town.

It doesn't hurt to draft for the NEAR future. Zach isn't getting younger. The OL is the primary unit that can sink the team this year if we lose ONE guy...
