Been saying this .........no way Jerry can sell the fans/media Dak, MM and Quinn. So Quinn is out and Dak and MM return.......maybe w/o extending either one. I think fans will buy Dak returning as long as he's not extended, and the same with MM. In other words, fans are willing to eat his massive cap hit, even if it means taking a couple of steps back, to maybe move on after 2024. It would also send a very clear message to Dak.......

MM at this point is that one parent that has been lenient with his kids and now is gonna demand respect? Not happening with these players after what happened saturday. done damaged too late. need a culture change

Yes, that’s exactly what we’ve become… We are the Kardashian’s of the NFL… all the glitz and the money, and the brand is more important than the product.

As predicted , MM will just get a small talk and delay in extension of contract , and he will tell Jerry who he will replace Dan Quinn with . dak is extended 2-3 years . rinse and repeat . Am pretty sure Stephen has strong doubts about Dak since 4 years ago , but his dad is all in On Dak .
jerry is now in Al Davis delusional territory in full mode . He probably convinced himself MM and Dak are still his best option and the GB game is just an anomaly that is a bump in the road . If GB loses against the niners , the ugly reality of the cowboys loss will be magnified further .
dont see how next week beliceck or harbaugh will be available as more teams will make their moves.

The issue with this franchise for the last few decades is that they are trying to win the Super Bowl with a cheat code. Talent is plentiful like many that have won the Super Bowl since 1996. In some cases (like this year) you could argue they have more than other past champions. However, the common denominator that is missing is discipline. The owner does not have it, so why would the coach, let alone the players? The most successful coaches have been Landry, Johnson and Parcells.

The were not toying with leading the league in penalties, or being in the media to hype their greatness. They were at work, focused on winning championships. Guess what that did? It trickled down to the players. That, and they sought out players whose main focus was winning a Super Bowl. Like Troy and the gang would say. Money and fame will not be a problem when we win a championship. That’s the priority, that will come with success.

Parcells didn’t stick around when the circus came to town with Owens. That was the beginning of the end. They were trending towards getting over the hump more than they ever did with Uncle Wade, Garrett or MM. Why? Those dudes are here to win, but not at the expense of pissing off their player friends. They’d rather be a buddy than a coach first. So you’d get undisciplined talent trying to Switzer their way to winning it all.

The only modern coach who has been able to balance friend and foe mentality is Reid. It helps to have an MVP qb bail you out from Commercials and Taylor Swift distractions. We don’t have that type of player here. As much as we want to say we do There is one more difference with Mahomes and Reid. That goofing around bit works when you’ve won it all, or been to the big game.

We haven’t even been sixth runner up in the beauty contest. Yet, we are going around waving like we have won Miss America because we got to the pagent. The mentality has to change. 9 All Pros is not enough to overcome the full commitment and focus needed to be a champion. Until even the owner sees it, and leads by example we will back here for another decade plus falling short after another early exit.
