Interestingly, Belichick has interviewed with the Falcons but no deal. Could he sit out a year and return 2025, the same year MM deal expires? I'm sure there are only a few owners he's willing to work for.

Teams looking for a head coach may not want to make a final decision until having the opportunity to interview potential candidates whose teams are still playing. Plus, they have to interview a minimum number of internal and external minority candidates.
