Perhaps mods should change the title to:
"Fan base FINALLY begins to see value of Big Mike"

Jets defense was a tough test imo. The difference is he wasn’t pressured enough to score tds instead of field goals because of the dominant performance by the defense
Lol... Tom Brady won a super bowl recently by only scoring field goals and a great defense... many others have as well.... Dak is not the problem, he's not perfect but not the problem....point is, it's a team sport and qbs win all the time just being consistent amd also good coaching...

The Jets were playing without a quarterback.
That's hardly a "tough" test.
Their defense couldn't hold up for an entire game playing by themselves. Neither can ours.
Their defense didn't hold up in the first half or through 3rd quarter.

Given Dak doesn't play against their offense. What you wanted to say is the defense hasn't faced a tough test.

You are welcome.

If he becomes the quarterback he is supposed to be, I'm all for it.
But if he is still the choking waste of money that continues to cost the Cowboys he should be gone.
No more years and talent can be wasted because of him.
Yet you have no other solutions you have evermput fort. But complain complain complain complain complain you do.

Before Dak you complain Ed about Garrett. Incessantly. Trashed him non stop.
Once Garrett is gone your complain machine turned towards Dak.

After Dak it will be somebody else. You just want to complain.

I'm a Cowboys fan. If a player actually helps the team, I like it.
The jury is still out, but it does seem that Dak has shown improvement. But if he chokes away the season again, he has to go.
You pretend to be Cowboys fan.

Prior you were a Titans fan.

And before that you hopped on Vikings bandwagon.

By your own admission.

Point is, is dak someone you can trust to lead you down the field in the 2 minute offense and win the game? Tbh I don’t think so. As long as the defense cooks and dak drives the bus with few turnovers we have a chance

Only mistake I saw from Dak was the double clutch throw Sauce almost took to the house, you can not double clutch against NFL cbs. I hope he was scared straight and continues with the new approach to the offense and breaks his low ints record.

Dak is doing what he needs to and McCarthy is doing well with his play calling. The question is if Micah gets hurt and the Cowboys offense is forced to possess the ball and score in a playoff game is he going to be able to do it. Let's hope Micah doesn't go down. The Jets have a strong defense but there isn't much pressure on Dak when the Jets can't score.

The one thing the Cowboys have needed is for Dak to be a true leader at the quarterback position.
Prescott has always been a great leader...Former Cowboy greats (Troy) have said it, current teammates (Micah) have said it, but somehow Dak Haters create this False Narrative below vvvvv:lmao2: :espn: :lmao2:
However, he came in under Garrett, and learned how to let the media blame others for his failures instead of leading.
Outright Lie!!! Your Dak Hate clouds your judgement or like most Dak Haters you have No Clue of what leadership at the QB position in this Era looks like.....
With the West Coast offense, McCarthy's staple, it may well be that Dak has hit a reset, and the rigors of learning an entirely new scheme under a Coach that truly understands leadership has given us a brand new Dak.
Prescott DID NOT learn "an entirely new scheme" ......2 Lies in one Post.

Where do you get your information? I highly suggest New Media because your interpretation of the Cowboys has been pathetic....based on 2-0 start:muttley:
We won't know until he actually faces a tough test, but for now it would be unfair not to give him credit for what looks like an improvement.
The Cowboys faced the Jets Defense that made a "Top 5 QB" Josh Allen look like Quincy Carter after a bye week.... Dak Haters always move the Goalpost....:starspin:
From calling plays in the preseason, to Mike McCarthy demanding accountability, it is entirely possible that Dak is not the same quarterback from years past.
Let's hope for the best.
Based on your interpretations.... it's clear you were not around when the Cowboys were building a Superbowl Team in the 90s... Novre Turner did for Troy Aikman exactly what McCarthy is trying to do with Prescott.....

Try interpretating the Cowboys without wishing Prescott is Gone :lmao::lmao2:

McCarthy is "finally" showing his value?

When was the previous time that the Cowboys had back to back double digit winning seasons?

It was the last time the Cowboys won a Super Bowl

When was the previous time they had back to back playoff seasons? It's when Parcells decided to start Tony Romo 15 years ago.

Finally?

Some can't get a handle on the reason for a discussion...lol. And don't care to beyond attitude and non-supported stereotype of opinion.

You are giving fodder to the Dak critics, by stating training Dak, LOL

Dak needed training; he wasn't ready to play quarterback and lead a team. It showed every year.
Maybe Mike McCarthy, given that he was also implementing a new offensive scheme, was able to teach Dak something about real leadership on the field and instill in him a knowledge of what he is supposed to be accomplishing out there. Before he simply wandered to the sidelines after drive after drive stalled in big games, and seemed to be content that it was the coaches who would have to come up with a way to do better instead of realizing he needed to make things happen.

To say the Jets were at full strength is ridiculous.
But yes, I am hoping Mike McCarthy can do for Dak what Norv did for Troy.
