he's slow reads are why all his passes are in the tight window, smh. I don't remember Rush supporters crying about the offensive line, the offensive coordinator, no playmakers, no wide receivers, no running game. wow, that Rush guy is just incredible.

Hum, I can't remember hearing Mike say he needs to work on Rush's protection. hum.....

I can't remember Rush being able to pass for over 120 yards.... I can't remember Rush being signed to a long term contract every year he was released and brought back on practice squads.

He's been in the league pretty much as long as Dak and he's still going in and out of practice squads at this point of his career?? Why do you think his career haven't taken off yet??

Are the other 31 GMs and coaches stupid??

In 4 of his 5 starts in 2022 Rush passes for no less than 180 yards so no clue what you are referring to. As for Rush's place in the NFL, he is a back-up QB that has performed well when called upon....nothing wrong with that for that is his role.

The other confusing part is why release your best pass-blocking RB in Zeke if that was the focus? I get his salary was an issue but they couldn't work things to allow for a lower salary. No clue.

Higher winning percentage over 5 games?? LOL!!

Rush has been in the league one year less than Dak and is still a backup playing on league minimums while Dak is on max contract. Let's do this.... Let's compare Dak career winning percentages in the same years Rush was in the league. Ok, that's a dead issue.

Dak is an NFL starter and Rush annually gets released and picked back up on practice squads.

Let's compare their numbers against each other. Dak averages 300, 350 passing yards per game while Rush barely cracks 100 yards passing??? He's Trent Dilpher Jr.

Lastly, if Rush was so good, why haven't we heard his name during the FA frenzy??? I guess the 31 other GMs and coaches are stupid and don't have the inside Intel on how good Rush is in your eyes, huh.... have Rush been signed to a max deal or signed with another team as a starter yet???

If not , then why do you think the other teams in the NFL haven't cleared the cap space for the magnificent Cooper Rush??? I'll wait....
The simple point that you still couldn't grasp was that the games Prescott missed last year did not negatively affect the season. They were fine without him. They improved their record without him. So this fixation by the fat man that Prescott must play a full season this year is rather laughable. A full season last year wouldn't have changed a damn thing in the positive.

One key thing that it would have changed is rhythm. There is no quarterback in the league that can have the same rhythm after missing 6 weeks of football.

If Dak missed the season, we weren't going to the playoffs. If we did, we certainly wouldn't have won a playoff game with Rush. He's a solid backup though.

I absolutely agree. He's a solid backup who played well and nothing more.

LOL.

So the 2022 season was hurt by the fact Prescott lost his "rhythm" while Rush was going 4-1 in relief?

I've read a lot of complete nonsense on this board over the years and that is near the very top of the list.

I think the who said "km forced dak to run that play" when dak threw a should have been intercepted pass....then did the exact same thing for the int....takes the cake of dak fan stupidity.

I didn't say that was the sole factor in Dak's bad year. You made the point that it wouldn't have been any different if Dak didn't miss any time. I said the one thing that would have been different is the rhythm. I didn't say that's the reason he had a bad year.

Now the failures of this team last year didn't ALL belong to him either. Dak contributed his part in our failures last year, but so did Kellen Moore for having a low IQ in "in game situational play calling" and basic play design, so did our receivers for failing to get open many times and running incorrect routes a handful of times.

Many people blame Dak for everything wrong, even things that happen on the defensive side of the ball which is dumb, but extremely hilarious to read.

Dak had his fair share of F'ups, but so did many others on that side of the ball.

Addressing run blocking wouldn't hurt, as well.......despite what many think TPollard can do.

I'm hoping like heck we don't ask him to do it like Zeke. Address better o line blocking with occasional Pollard blocks.

Otherwise another short career for a great RB.

~Tom Landry rolling over in his grave~
I’d say that was his reaction the first time we lost to the 49ers. But after that second lost to the 49ers and Zeke getting run over, Mr Landry left the grave altogether cause he knows ain’t getting no rest anytime soon

Rush threw for close to 4000 yards against the Vikings and could actually find Amari Cooper for 10 catches two seasons ago, which Dak had problems doing, and Moore wasn't playing conservative. We also haven't seen Dak play with garbage teams that have horrible OL like Daniel Jones or Sam Darnold either.

You remember Dak fan-boys had declared the season over after the first game, but then Dallas started winning and their new excuse was that Moore needed to run the "same type of offense" he was doing with Rush.
