McCarthy forcing the run in the red zone was very telling

Yes, they were extremely aggressive and sticky in the redzone. I think McCarthy should have run more during the game.
We ran the ball 33 times and threw only 25 times.

In comparison, the Cards ran 30 times for 222 yards.

Maybe Mike ran the ball more on that last drive because of Martin and Smith being out, oline couldn't protect long enough for Dak to throw?

Running game was good, and some of have been saying run the ball n play Defense. Just sucks the Defense didn't play well in the 1st half.
Yet in the 2nd half the defense held the opposition scoreless in the third quarter, and halfway through the 4th - yielding one touchdown.
Meanwhile- the Cowboys offense could only muster a field goal in the 3rd and 4th quarters.

This is for all the morons that cant understand simple situational football or what they are seeing on the football field.

Mike McCarthy on the red zone struggles: “I gotta do a better job. That starts with me. They were playing high in coverage,” that’s why the Cowboys were running late

Or the morons that couldnt understand the game was already over when dak threw the pick
So now the entire NFL finally knows how to stop Mahomes and the Chiefs. Just play high in coverage, which will force them to run the ball every time in crucial situations late in the game.

It's all such simple, situational football! Who would've ever guessed?

He threw straight into triple coverage. The odds of completing that pass are next to nothing. A veteran QB 8 years in has to know better than to attempt that throw. Oh and he isnt elite. I dont care what your stats or lists sayhe c

Yall use the word "excuses" way too flagrantly. Its funny because in the same breath yall excuse the defense for not stopping the run, excuse MM for calling bad plays in the redzone, excuse WR's for not getting separation, excuse the team's 14 penalties etc... All while calling Dak mediocre because he doesnt win in spite of all that lol.
All these changes were made for Dak…. 8 years of counting.. Rush is 5-1 total on this team…. And he has a noodle arm.

this loss was not all on dak the defense pretty much lost this game in the first half
There will come a time when we need to rely on the defense to win. I feel comfortable about that. There will also come a time when we need to rely on Dak to win……do you feel comfortable with that?

He was doing all he could to avoid passing the ball with Dak down there.

When he finally had no choice Dak threw the game ending INT.
Funny. You said you’re not posting anymore. The cowboys lose. Here you are. I can’t wait until you’re permanently benched

That last possession was awful. I felt like I was watching a preseason game or something. They tried to make sure they ran out the entire clock then Dak just said screw this I will throw it to them and we can go home. It was beyond bad.

everybody was hurt, dak didn't get 3 minutes to scan the field like usual. Wait until the guys are back, dak will be able to scan the field for 5 minutes. Dang noobs.

Maybe (likely) he will.

Doesn't change the fact that McCarthy isn't a great OC and certainly is not being held back from greatness by Dak.

But you certainly seem to have convinced yourself of that.
MM , Schottenheimer, and Dak are no good but the Jones think they strike gold by keeping these buffoons

actually, up until that very last drive, we had 7 runs and 10 passes in the redzone.

the very last drive, MM went 5 straight runs. not sure why. perhaps that's what you are pointing to.

the WRs had a very tough time getting any separation. if you noticed, AZ was dropping 7 into coverage and still able to hamper the running game inside the redzone. essentially that was their defensive game plan. lets us run as much as we wanted, not give up the big pass plays (limit our big play) and they were confident with 3 back up OL that we would make mistakes in the run and pass protection inside the redzone.

inside the redzone, the play design and execution was bad. the routes were bad. the WRs were bad. Dak was bad. not one single good thing happened when we got inside the redzone (well just one). I get that you want to just drive your agenda and hammer Dak, but the whole thing was plain ugly.

Dak had time on that throw...
No one was open. But my comment was why run in that situation twice. I wouldn’t have myself but I get why he might have not wanted to throw every down there either
