The problem with you saying this, as has been pointed out many times before, is that you thought it was OK to 'spew filth and misery towards this team's franchise QB' when that franchise QB was Romo. But now that the franchise QB is Dak it isn't ok.

So it's ok to bad mouth one QB but not the other. Good to know. Hypocrisy at it's finest.....

Maybe you should be the one looking at yourself and the things you say.

2016: Dak takes over and leads the Cowboys to a 13–3 record, with Ezekiel Elliott rushing for 1,631 yards, a top offensive line, and a defense that ranked 14th in points allowed.

2017: Despite Zeke’s six-game suspension, Dak manages 9–7 with a strong O-line and weapons like Dez Bryant and Cole Beasley. Defense improved to 9th in points allowed.

2018: Dak wins the division at 10–6, with a strong O-line, Amari Cooper added mid-season, and a defense ranking 6th in points allowed.

Now compare that to Tony Romo’s final years:

2013–2015: Injuries, weak defenses (ranked 26th–32nd in points allowed), inconsistent supporting cast. Romo’s numbers were solid, but the team around him was far from elite.

You are exactly correct. The hypcrisy has been shown over and over and over.

But it's no use explaining it to this person. I've tried my best to be supportive and encouaging, but I've had enough of it.

Originally, I was going to comment further on your initial observation, but I have decided not to. This train of thought really intrigues me. Two final questions.

Like Romo, Prescott has suffered multiple season-ending injuries during the past five seasons. Prescott has entered the 2025 season in extremely good physical shape. However, injuries (despite what anyone would falsely claim otherwise) are a reality in sports--especially in football.

Would you label Prescott as 'injury-prone' at this time? Or would you apply the label onto him if he ever sustained another significant injury at some point in the future?

Fair point — Prescott has had some significant injuries over the last few seasons, and that can’t be ignored. By that measure, it’s reasonable to acknowledge he has shown some susceptibility to injuries, much like Romo did in his later years.

The key is consistency: if we’re going to call one QB ‘injury-prone,’ we should apply the same standard to the other, without excuses. Context matters — Prescott has missed games, yes, but so did Romo, and Romo often had a weaker supporting cast, which made his injuries even more impactful.

So yes, I’d say Dak is also injury-prone.

Dak isn't any more dedicated to his game than any other QB. To say that he is invested 24/7 is a massive over-exaggeration and a lie. No QB is that invested in the game, not Dak, Mahomes, Allen, none of them.
