It's Jerry's business and his family's inheritance. They are never selling the Cowboys, so why don't you and you Jerry/Dak haters go follow another team? Why remain miserable and make everyone else as miserable as you?
You are constantly declaring this and complaining about the complaining, so by your own standards, you should leave this place and find another outlet to discuss the Cowboys....again, by your own standards.

No, I'm not seriously telling you to leave. We disagree at times, but I like you. I just wanted you to see how hypocritical this particular stance of your is, brother. Stop telling people to leave. We discuss it here because that's what the forum is for. We care about the Cowboys. Let people vent their frustrations out.

It's the same people venting the same frustrations over and over and over, day after day, year after year, against Jerry and Dak. We already know after 100+ times. Why stick around if not happy? Jerry and Dak are not leaving anytime soon. Plus, the Jones will continue to own this franchise. Nothing is going to change decades from now.

I disagree. There's always a chance Stephen won't run the Cowboys the same as his father. There's always the very slight chance Jerry will for whatever reason give a coach the authority that he needs. I don't see that one happening, but it depends on how his revenue is affected.

Will venting here change anything? No, but it's a forum for discussions and opinions, not an echo chamber for just Silver lining cheering. It is what it is, man. It's not going to change. It shouldn't change. People should be allowed to say their opinion. You complain that certain posters make this forum a worse place with their attitude and what they say. I say this with love, brother: You make this place a worse place with the "Go find another team" rhetoric because it's just as negative and hostile as what you complain about. Again, I'm not attacking you. I get the frustration of seeing the same things said over and over. But we've had 30 years of frustration from the team. The phrase "Winning cures all" applies here. We're all passionate about the Cowboys and there's a lot of anger and frustration with how they are run. They can do nothing about it so they vent. Keep defending Dak. You believe in him. That's fine. :) Just please stop with the toxic "go find another team" rhetoric. We're all Cowboys fans, and the team has existed long before Jerry bought it. He won't live forever, either. There's hope.

So the "go find another team" to the constant, daily, weekly, monthly and yearly complaining is toxic, but the constant, daily, weekly, monthly and yearly complaining is not toxic?

As for Jerry, yes, he won't live forever, but Stephen is much like him in so many ways, including decision making, so expect the same...or very close to it. Hence, why I don't understand how anyone exopects things to suddenly change? It is what it is brother.

He'll be the most coveted coach on the market in quite some time.

And then re-sign with the Cowboys.
Mike is not the problem for the lack of success but the mediocre front office that have no clear strategy for building a championship caliber squad.

The Cowboys are not players in free agency but instead trade their draft capital looking for diamonds in the rough which makes no sense since they preach that they want to build through the draft.

This team hasn't drafted a QB before the 4th round since Quincy Carter more than 20 years ago. In 2024 only 1 team is making the playoffs with a QB drafted outside the first round and that's the Eagles.

Regardless If Mike stays or goes this franchise isn't winning a championship with Jerry and Stephen setting the agenda.

One is aimed at a poster, the other is aimed at the front office. So there IS a difference. YOU are targeting people who are venting/giving their opinion with a borderline attack that is fairly toxic (in my opinion.) You are not being attacked when someone talks about Jerry or Dak. See the difference? However, if they say "YOU are a Dak worshipping jerk" or similar, yeah, that's an attack on you and is toxic (I've been guilty of that). "Dak is a choker" and "Jerry is a narcissistic jerk responsible for 30 years of failure" is not toxic. It's a statement of opinion. If you don't like the complaining from the same small group, why even bother reading their posts, especially if you know that's ALL they do?

I do have hope Stephen will change at least a few things when Jerry is gone. I know he's similar in many ways, but Jerry has stated that the Cowboys are his toy to play with. Does Stephen view it that way or from a more fiscal way and recognizing it's his dad's toy? We don't know. We don't know for sure how he'll handle the team when Jerry passes. We can only guess, so there is that hope. :)

Regardless of all of the ad nauseum complaints about the same things, we're all passionate about the Cowboys with the exception of very few. No one is going to find another team just because someone tells them to. I, for one, will drop the NFL completely if I ever decide to stop following the Cowboys. I edited it to add: Much respect, brother. :)

McCarthy will have opportunities and he should explore them. There is a talented rookie QB in Chicago that is right up his alley.
