Mike McCarthy said:
"I'm not doing attendance. I'm not going to come up here and talk about one player when 98% of them are here."
I support Mike McCarthy in this instance. I would rather read or hear about the players attending OTAs. Let the media do the footwork, hunt down Micah Parsons, and ask for his explanation for not being at OTAs.

Get a quote from the horse's mouth instead. Do some actual reporting.

Nothing to see here, amiright?

Parsons is the same way on the field and bench. You hardly ever see him running up to one of him mates on the field, especially when things are going bad and those TV shots of him silking on the bench are priceless, it's like he's the only one player on the bench because nobody is around him in those shots.

What’s the reason he isn’t there?

Is this a voluntary deal?

I get it. But the way Parsons is run down at the end of the year, they should wrap him in bubble wrap and only let him on the field during game days. Maybe he won't be "tired" during the playoff game.

Has any play ever oozed “will quit when I get a big contract” more than Micah?

He’s the next Albert Haynesworth.
yea, he makes me nervous. He was lavished with so much praise from day 1. Being compared with the great LT and boy did it go to his head. This is the beginning of big problems IMO. He is not the leader you want on a team. He is so worried about himself. Doing his podcast, always talking about thigs that he should stay away from right now in his career.

The usuals will say it's no big deal. Mike seems to be bothered by it especially since it's a new defense
when you are the best player in defense, you must set the tome. You dont skip OTAs. Not only would Jordan not have missed OTAs, he would have been running his own practices at his house 2 weeks after the Super Bowl. I may be exaggerating a little, but youd like for your best player to do everything right. If I am Dak, why should I go? Martin? Tank? Imagine f all the vets just said nah, Im good Bro. Ill see you at training camp.

I would love to see that but at Jerry's age, I doubt he blows anything up. He wants to hang around the rim in his final years.
and why wouldnt he? He is 82 years old, he is not and nor would you or anyone else at his age say screw it, lets start over.
